Watched this and my lasting impression is that I cannot believe how bad Danny Welbeck was. His decontamination making and touch were awful, so bad that he accidently set up a goal for Feo by overrunning a ball.
It was a dead rubber game played out in front of 20,000 people..yet rather than give Nkeiath 70 to 90 minutes the genuis started Welbeck and Giroud . I know they are not regular starters in the "first" team , but they will probably be on the bench at Southampton. Was Wenger's thinking that Welbeck and Giroud score a hat full and he will look a genuis for masterminding a massacre.?
Bate were probably the worst team I have ever seen Arsenal play on TV..
Finally I had to watch it on the EirSport channel, Brian KERR mystery be the most monotonous pundit around....Very forgetable game .
Actually even though I said EirSport were monotonous the commentator said of all the English players on the pitch for Arsenal and others that none of them have really developed under Wenger...Not often you actually hear that from a commentator or pundit..

Watched the highlights.Thought Welbeck and Wally were rusty, then realised that's as good as their first touch gets.Felt sorry for the guy that gave away the penalty,Theo hadn't a clue what the plan was so how could the poor defender?
