Mancs (A) 29/04 @ 16:30

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Any Arsenal defense that doesn’t include those two skid marks Kos and Mustafi is a stronger one in my book.

Surprised it took 16 minutes. So easy for them. Comedy from Xhaka as usual.

This really does have hiding written all over it. Who is going to stand up and make a difference when it matters? Nobody - when they’re on top we will wilt.

Who had the 18th minute in the “Arsene Wenger, we want you to stay” sweepstake?

Would be the first one out the door for me.

Clumsy and has the least awareness of what’s happening around him of any CM I’ve ever seen play for us. On top of that he’s completely pedestrian and against any half decent opposition the game just completely passes him by.

Can remember a massive number of brainless fuck-ups but zero games where he has ran the show.

Wtf is going on with holding ? He showed real potential since he joined (none more so than last seasons cup final), but now he cant seem to be a start - even a greek nobody is starting ahead of him now
He looked quite good in training if you remember.

This is so boring.
At least the 8-2 defeat was exciting to watch...

Times for the goals in the 8-2

D Welbeck (22)
A Young (28)
W Rooney (41)
W Rooney (64)
Nani (67)
J Park (70)
W Rooney (82 pen)
A Young (90+1)

---------------------------
T Walcott (45+3)
RvP (74)

So even though we conceded quicker today we're doing better overall at time of writing 36mins still only 1-0.

A couple of blatant yellows for them not given by the fatty in black.

Yep - nothing to do with why were behind but Pogba, Sanchez and Matic all allowed to intentionally pull or trip from behind with nothing given.

Shame he didn’t give Xhaka the second yellow he deserved for deliberate handball.

Iwobi is playing

I am not taking the piss here, I honestly didn’t know. Was that his first touch of the game?

If this is the future then Arsenal are fucked, (unless fifa change the rules to moves the goals from the ends of the pitch to the sides).
Talking about the future, what has become of that world class defender from Hendesford Town, that we beat everyone else to sign a couple of years ago? Has he gone back to shelf stacking at Lidl or wherever it was he was working?
