As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Shows that Arteta still has some very big personal issues to address. He has favourites who play no matter what, and deserving players who don't get played even when we have injuries. C.unt. It's difficult to like the guy.
I'd say that it is difficult to trust the guy - no-one can trust any manager who rates xhaka as highly as this guy does, but it is one thing picking him continually in midfield, but to pick him left back ahead of tierney is totally unacceptable imo

Yep, I agree with this. Augie said a similar thing the other day. It’s exactly the characteristic that the Old French Fraud used to have.
He was always loyal to his favourites, the good boys that sucked up to him and didn’t question what he was doing, even when it was coming apart at the seams. He couldn’t handle strong characters, which was why he almost never bought established stars. It seems Arteta has the same trait and that might be even more petty and vindictive.
By finishing second, Arteta has given himself an big act to follow next season. I still have considerable doubts, which decisions like this Tierney one fuels, but we’ll see.
Dicko was saying that Partey doesn't seem to know where he is meant to be, looks lost. Everybody gesturing for him to push up...Dicko - "Now he's at centre half at the moment"
