If the footballing gods offered you a gilt edged chance on a plate and you had to decide who you wanted on the end of it, you wouldn’t say Trossard, or Martinelli, or Odegaard.

The injuries to Saka and Havertz were bad enough, but the fact that the rest of our attack all went so far off the cliff edge was devastating. Instead of someone stepping up to the plate in the absence of our top scorer and best player, they’ve all collapsed. All 3 shocking again today.
