Why flood so many players forward? Lucky to get away with that because that’s absolutely brain dead.

Is it just me or does it seem like an absolute age since we saw them play!?

These Fart Pipes ( ©Flaky) will come to defend first and try and hit us on the break!

So as long as we don't do anything daft (like play Clive chenko) we should Win!

4 - 1 To THE Arsenal!

Lewis Skelly appalling second half. Massive gaps at left back that Fulham exploited time and time again.

Thank fuck that's over. Thought MLS got found out a bit in the last 10 mins of the game, for pace. We were lucky to get 3 points in the end. Nice to see Gabby play so well. :barscarf: :barscarf:

That last 10 mins plus injury time was alarming. 2 nil up and coasting home and then we lost all shape and got carved open multiple times. Appalling game management in a game we should have been out of sight in.

If Gabriel and Timber are out for Madrid it will get ugly. That pussy Kiwior ducking out of headers in the box as is the norm for him. Badly need Ben White to take some of the minutes away from Timber to lighten the load but of course he’s fucking crocked again now too :banghead:

Good result, pleased for Martinelli. Hope he can keep it up now.

MLS was shocking in the last 10 mins or so, really poor decision making, showed his age and inexperience, he'll learn.

Mls running out of steam , should never have hadtwo games for England but international managers dont give a toss.

Tbf to tuchel (and I think that he is a pure bluffer) he basically shot that down when it was put to him about AFC wanting their players rested for the second game, and he responded by pointing out that the cone boy didnt rest the likes of rice for the second leg against psv despite the tie being over after the first game 8)

Routine win...until Arsenal went headless....remember the goal away to Swansea about ten years ago that turned a routine 1-0 away win into.a defeat..That day we had eight men ahead of the ball at 1-0 up and conceded an awful goal....Same tonight, if MLS is inexperienced and naive at eighteen years old then that is OK, an experienced player grabs him.and says " listen son, the game is done, we don't need to go all cavalier "..Ironic that the team who don't get enough men forward quickly when they need to, suddenly have too many forward when we don't need to...Got away with it in the end.
Gabriel injury is sickening in a season of continuous sickening injuries. WTF is going on, Kiwior terrifies me , hopefully White is back for Everton and Real Madrid.
I thought Martinelli looked better tonight, he was more positive and confident than recent months / years.
Overall a nothing game became a struggle...

The season has been cursed since the moment Declan Rice got sent off against Brighton. Ever since then it’s been one fucking thing after another whether that be injuries or a litany of shit decisions going against us.

Saka coming back last night was the good news story which has now been totally negated by Timber and Gabriel getting crocked. Constant fucking injuries all year and not going out and signing a striker in January deflated any remaining hope for the season leading to a flat 4 month drift to the end.

In the last week alone we’ve now seen Calafiori, White, Gabriel and Timber injured. 4 players in a fucking week! Can’t wait for the summer, been some slog this year.

What’s fucking next.

Yes all true fella, the Gabrielle one is the sickener....if we had any remote chance against Real it would be for our defence holding out...could be worse i suppose if it was Saliba...yes if its kiwior playing could be a rout
Heard Martinelli looked better, about time as hes been dire for most of this season

I didnt see any of the second half so is there any word on what Gabriel's injury is ?

Also (and I say this as a martinelli fan) yes he was better tonight, BUT it is so easy read our wingers - give them the ball, they run forward a bit, then 90-95% of the time they cut inside or turn back because they are playing on their un-natural side and are not able to go outside the full back. Why the cone boy doesnt swap them over for 20 mins in a game is beyond me cos at least it will challenge the opposition full backs and give them something different to think about

I really dont know at what stage there is going to be a serious talk/movement about upgrading odeargod - he was awful in the first half AGAIN last night, and again a seriously ambitious team would recognise that we win nothing with a captain like him and especially when he is meant to be our creative midfielder but creates fcuk all

Thought most of the first half was as dull as it gets - we really are a very hard watch when a game is 0-0 these days. Merino got the stroke of luck we needed and as a result I think the game was better after that.

Odegaard is absolutely as bad as it gets right now - his transformation into modern day Hleb is now complete. Can he actually receive the ball and run in a straight line towards the opposition goal? Seems like that is beyond him and instead takes 10 touches to end up precisely in the same place he was whilst the oppo nicely regroup and sit 9 players behind the ball. I'm going to say it now - a manager with any bollocks would see that he has been shite all season and with Saka back, now is the time to drop Nwaneri into that slot as he, a rejuvinated Martinelli and Saka would pose far more threat, directness and creativity

I see MLS is getting some stick on here but lets remember this lad is 18 and has been an absolute star whilst permacrocks and pussies all around him have let the side down for months - the odd reckless challenge and youthful naivete is going to be part of what we see with him but for me he has been one of the men of the season so no criticism from me. At least he's brave and drives forward and makes himself constantly available - compare and contrast with our captain who has been nothing short of disgraceful as both a senior player/leader and a supposed key attacking part of the team
