Too soon. Long term he must return to take his place in history but now???? I am afraid that would be a little like Sammy Lee this season a step too soon!>Lethal~Prodigy< wrote:TONY ADAMS

If Arsene went and this is a big if as I don't think he should there are very few who could replace him. My thoughts are:hanny73 wrote:Haha - know wonder you've got so many posts! Anymore suggestions??
Sven
Lippi
Hiddink
And a few others. It would be near impossible to improve or Arsene, in which case he should not be replaced.

The same Pires that has guided Villareal to third place in La Liga this season? Just several weeks ago, they defeated Barcelona away from home.GallasVoice wrote:TBH...
Your name 'BringbackPires' says a lot mate..
Bring back a 33-34 year old that wouldn't cope with the pace to compete at the top level of the premiership anymore.
Same applies with Lehmann
And to say get rid of Wenger is an ABSOLUTE JOKE.
In Pires's first league game for Villareal, he scored the opening goal against Barcelona in a game they won 2-0. Did Hleb do this in the Champions League final? Has he done fuck all since? No.
To this day, Pires is a better player RIGHT NOW than Hleb could ever aspire to be. And if you don't believe me, just turn on La Liga on Sky Sports.

I don't want Wenger to go. But I want him to come out and apologise at the end of the season for the failure of the Club to win the League having got such a position. The signing of Anelka alone may have been the difference, though we would still be lacking certain quality elsewhere.
If we win the European Cup (which I seriously doubt we are capable of) it should not paper over the cracks which are so obvious.
We need a new goalkeeper. We need a stopper centre-half who is willing to attack the ball in the air (like Senderos) and is able to out-muscle the likes of Drogba (unlike Senderos - and I'm not getting at him as he has done really well since Christmas) to replace Gallas. We need a proper left winger who isn't injured all the time. We need a muscular presence in midfield to replace Flamini (who has also been outstanding but can not be expected to win battles against people like Essien and Gerrard). We need a goalscorer who can be consistent. If that means we have to spend a lot of money then so be it, but I am severely pissed off at the way our league campaign has gone up in smoke.
