Well the linesman was gonna give offside so it wouldn't have mattered if it was or not.

With all respect mate, people have been writing the same crap, like your comment above, after our games against Birmingham, Villa, Wigan, Boro, Chelsea...and now Liver-fucking-pool

We were on top of that "hill" 6 weeks ago, now its our Everest to climb!
- and just to rub it in....Van Persie is OUT of the 2nd leg!!! DAMN IT!

Don't get me wrong Picadilly, your comment is fair enough...its just that its wearing thin now...and doesn't bring a shred of comfort anymore..that's all.

the offside was nb, even though as said above there was a pool player on the line so couldn't have been off

How the fuck could have it been offside?

Hled dribbled past three players on his own and never passed to anyone!

The players from the previous move were all walking away from goal so non-active!

Do you have a grasp of this game?

After looking at this replay a couple of times, the ref was 100% wrong

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4xudo ... videogames

Adebayor is played though onto the left-wing and he is onside. Then he chips in the ball for Bendtner who is onside, then Reina palms it away. As Fabregas shoots and Bendtner blocks the shot, there is still a Liverpool player on the line. The linesman was wrong, I don't know how anyone could argue after watching the replay.

RVP out... Walcott in with Ade up front playing on the wing, making sure Ade plays more central (not floating out wide like Henry used to, which he seems to think he is ??!!?!?   ).....

Roll on Tues 8th April

3-1 Anfield. to the Arsenal.

For Bendtner's block on the line the linesman was right..........there has to be two players between the ball and the goal! Usually 99.9% of the time the keeper is one of thease but on this occasion Reina was on the six yard line!

Khalid....

you're wrong about the offside rule.

Bendtner WAS offside.

When the striker is CLOSER to the Liverpool goal than the goalkeeper...there MUST BE 2 DEFENDERS between Bendtner and the goal.

Unfortuantely, there was only 1 DEFENDER...therefore, offside.

Oh cry me a river mate why not just go hurl yourself of a cliff now and be done with it. If being optimistic for a change is a load of crap than long may I bloody well continue to talk it. If we all had it your way than we should pull out of the CL right now. It's fustrating but there's no reason why we should'nt belive that our team has the abiltity to score ONE goal at anfield.

In fairness we did not do enough for me and cesc was the only player making an effort to drive us on. Can someone please explain to me why wenger saw fit to swap theo, who was beginning to really worry them down their right, over to the other side where he hardly seen the ball after that plus we got stuck with waltzing matilda(hleb) on our left as attack after attack slowed up and broke down at his feet
I'll have a stab at this for you Augie old fella. Did you notice that as Theo came down the left, that's where he started the first half and Hleb moved centrally, Ade-Barn-Door kept pulling out even wider than he did? Thus leaving no fucker in the centre for crosses and other such passes. Now AW wasn't about to take your man Ade off at 1-1 was he? So the option is to bring Bentder on, push theo wide right and move Hleb to the left, and hope either Nick or Ade stay central. A bit more faith in Theo as that fizzing shot early on had him pumped up and he needn't have brought Nik on.

Generally 2nd half I thought we played really well a bit more luck and a few good decisions we'd have been ahead going into the second leg. A side note to Hleb here also, Gerrard produced a fine dribble which resulted in a goal but did little else of note for the game. Hleb produced a truely world class dribble few else could match and 100% did get fouled but did little else. It's these small margins that seperate the greats from the nearly greats.
