Even though I think it's still a bit early to rule us out of the race for the title, today's performance was anything but reassuring....

Fab was crap as hell, Adebacunt is just a fuckin liability, and FFS boys SHOOT! Also Sagna made about 50 centers tonight and not a single one found any head.

And even though Gallas is so far very poor, for his defense, if you watch the 2nd Hull goal, Toure was on the striker at first and left him for no reason! Then they looked at themselves with Gallas... How can it be more obvious that they just DONT pair up together?

The players I saw today weren't here to play football, they were here to be seen on tv! Evryone was fuckin WALKING!!!! Credits to Hull who, at least were thinking about playing football... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

There is no other way to look at this except with extreme embarrassment and anger.
Our defending is woeful and how that fucking useless *word censored* Greedybarndoor stayed on the pitch for 90 minutes is beyond me. People almost laughed at me earlier this week when I said we should start with Vela and Bendtner today. Was I wrong? well, was I?
I am fucking furious. To think I had to endure some fucking idiot telling me that Barndoor is as good as Torres, better even!!!! BOLLOCKS. If that *word censored* starts the next game then there is no hope for us as AW obviously isn't watching the same team as the rest of us.
There was a distinct difference between the two teams that played in midweek and today. The one in midweek had a bit of passion and pride in wearing our famous shirt (even if the current one is in itself a disgrace).
I can't write anymore, I'm just so fucking angry

Agree with Augie and Spud. In many ways today was even more disappointing than the Fulham result, and proved that wasn't a one-off, as we all hoped.

Eboue, Theo and Ade reverted to type, whilst Denilson has been plain awful all season. We still can't defend a set-piece whilst proving unable to benefit from the numerous ones we get. Our crossing is pathetic and the reluctance to shoot when given the opportunity is frankly becoming an embarrassment. If you won't shoot from 8 yards out, when will you?

I'm so fucking angry!! I was worried from early on in the first-half because we seemed so complacent and lackadasical, as if all we had to do was turn up. How have the players put that kind of performance on? Why weren't they champing at the bit from the very start to continue the good run they were on? What exactly is Wenger telling them in the dressing room because we seem to start off each half very slowly most weeks?

We've now lost twice in 6 matches this season and we've yet to play a half decent side!! :banghead: Given the fact we only lost 3 times in 38 games last season and still didn't come top, it doesn't augur well. How anyone - and that includes Wenger - can honestly claim that they think we're strong enough to win the league is beyond me.

so arsene thinks this team can win the league ?

he also thinks we can defensive stability ?

and apparently denilson is good enough to start in central midfield next to cesc

no fuckin passion
eboue was back to his old diving shit
adebayor thinks hes thierry
rvp is a bottle job

but yeah,we can win the league cant we ? 'arsene knows'

As for us, an awful awful performance, i fail to see a single positive.
Walcott at least now has a basic level of creating chances, he had an off day but his off day was better than how he played last season.

Cannot knock Sagna and Clichy much.

Err, cannot take much else away from the game!

Sorry but as i have said before, if Theo wasn't English, he would be getting slated.

Just got back. Agree with the usual points raised but as well as Hull defended and they do deserve credit for trying to play football, we have lost the knack of breaking down 2 walls of defenders. In the last few years you'd have Freddie running along the line and Dennis would pick the pass which would normally unlock the door. Today, to his credit, Theo was making that type of run on at least 3 or 4 occasions but either nobody saw him or didn't trust him! I'm starting to think that soon he needs to play central so that we can really use his pace. I know Wenger is trying to protect him but let's use his strengths.
Also, I know he's scored a couple this season but RVP is really worrying me. Comes far too deep, and I think he's too greedy when a pass is needed.
2 defeats already? Not the stuff of title pretenders.

Maybe the reason he isn't slated as much is because people realise he's only 19 and still learning the game!! The players that deserve the slagging off are those that have been in the team regularly over the past couple of seasons yet still make the same mistakes.  :banghead:

Yes Theo was below par today, yet what does that say about the others when he was our best attacking player?

So why does Phillipe come under so much criticism?

Because Phillipe Senderos is 23 not 19. He makes clangers that are high profile and sometimes costly.

I think 23 is a sort of watershed.

Younger than that and a player is seen as a young player with time still on his side to make it at the club.

They have had a couple of years of doing full training (at 21 players at Arsenal begin serious strength training) and should have physically matured.

At 23, if they are not regular first team, then it is time to start thinking of a move away.

They have had a couple of years of doing full training (at 21 players at Arsenal begin serious strength training) and should have physically matured.

Justin Hoyte was an example this summer, as well as Senderos.

I have had two hours to mull over that so called game of football.

I will start with the positives.....Walcott and Almunia, Walcott was the only outfield player who looked like he wanted to run why Wenger took him off is beond me. Almunia not much he could of done with the two goals but did make some good saves.

Where do I start with the negatives.....................
Defence-Toure & Gallas do not and I dont think will ever work together as a CD partnership, they are just to similer and take up the same positions In todays game(and others this season) they were very slow at closing down players and unable to do the basic things from set pieces. The question is who should be the one dropped? The answer is difficult because it will depend who can work best with Djourou or perhaps Silvestre.

Midfield-I think the blame must lay with Wenger today, what is the point of playing Eboue on the wing? Doesnt Wenger remember last season and he has played well in the centre(most of the time) this season. Fabregas and Denilson were....well Im not to sure.... inefective is probabley the best way of putting it. It was obvious at half time that it was'nt working why didnt Wenger change it then??????????. Why did Wenger take of Walcoot and put on Vela, for Osasona(spl??) last season Vela played out on the left wouldnt it been more sencible to leave Walcott on and take Eboue off

Attack-Ade's head dropped as soon as he had that goal disallowed and RVP looked like he was playing with lead weights around his legs. He(RVP) only looked like he wanted to play when Bendtner came on and he dropped back into the hole between the strikers and midfield. Also for two tall stikers why didnt one of them get a head on one of the 300 crosses Sanga + Clichy put in today??????

I could of spent my time today doing something better like watching the lady's on come dancing but no I spent it watching some so called footballers who forgot the basics of the game
