WALCOTT - which position is best etc?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

At one stage a move broke down and their left back had the ball and the brainless c**t just walked away with his back to him despite being 2-1 down and us chasing the game and it was left to giroud to run over and press the chav c**t into conceding a throw   People may slate giroud and his lack of quality but at least he works his nuts off not like the book author who wants 100k per week for doing fcuk all  I absolutely lost it at that time (happened on more than one occasion yesterday  ) and I stood up and shouted at walnut to "fcuk off to liverpool you c**t"  The place was deadly quiet around me at the time and I did get a few disgusted looks from fellow "Gooners"
It's both a statement of Wenger's tactical ineptitude and Walcott's laziness that Giroud was forced to chase back to our own corner flag at 2-1 down. I have no wish for the bloke to be at our club anymore as despite our obvious shortcomings we actually look like a team that want to play for each other and for the badge. He doesn't fit into that mould at all and I'd rather him fuck off for free: the wage saving on whatever we're paying him currently and not having to see him in an Arsenal shirt ever again would be more than compensation enough.

I know that feeling. I've gotten into a couple of slanging matches with gooners over my "constructive criticism" of Arseshavin.

His lack of aggression/ workrate /commitment is frightening, anybody can run and there's no excuses for someone not trying. :banghead:

Walcott came onto the field at the same time as Giroud.

Giroud had a powerful shot deflected which Czech did well to deflect around the post.

Giroud hit the post with a header from a corner (but Forehead was shoved offside by a chelsea defender)

Giroud made a good diagonal run to get on the end of a very good through ball, but took it too wide and hit the side netting.

Walcott did..................?????????????????????????????????????

There's embarrasing. There's fucking shameful. There's thinly disguised attempts to provoke someone, anyone, into butchering you to death with a meat cleaver to put you out of the interminable misery that constitutes your prolapsed rectum of a life. And then there's whatever you call that shit.

Come back Away Boyz, all is forgiv... actually, fuck that, where's my meat cleaver?

F365 take on it.
Sign
A group of enterprising Arsenal fans have decided that the Theo Walcott contract business has gone on for long enough now, and they need to pull out the big guns in order to get him to agree his new deal.

So they have penned a new rap-singing ditty, named 'Walcott - Sign Da Ting'. You can listen to it here.

Nice that they're chipping in and everything, but we're not sure their powers of persuasion are all they could be.

For the tune contains lines such as:

'Apart from your pace what else are you offering? Now we got Oxlade-Chamberlain. In your spot, technique he brings, that's why the fans his name we sing.'

So 'The other lad is much better than you, but we might as well keep you anyway.'

Enticing.

However, our favourite line was...

'Do you wanna be a part of history, or are you gonna be like Van Persie?'

That last line is particularly strong, since they might as well have said 'Do you want to stay at Arsenal, or move to a club with a better chance of winning something?'

''Ookaa, ookaa, sign da ting, ookka, ookaa, sign da ting''

I think one of the lines should of been:

''we got Podolski, we've got Giroud, even Gervinho's been up front too, that just says you're totally poo, so fuck off now and take Chamakh with you''

:barscarf:

he is a wide player, the sooner he accepts it, the better for him. I'm actually loving this freeze he is getting, good to remind us that he's no really needed. specially for 100k a week.

Whilst there is never a player bigger than the club, I do think Theo would be very useful and better kept than sold.

Tonight was an example where The Ox had a very poor game by his standards, and our other right wing option Gervinho was being used up front.

So Theo would be a plus if he played for longer than the 20 minutes he got.

One idea though; if Sagna comes back to good form, might Jenkinson be tried right midfield?
