The ONLY Euro 2016 thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And Leo Messi to end Argentina's trophy drought on Sunday over Chile.

Well i posted my comment before Shaqiri scored. :D :D Yeah it was a good goal. I saw the Hungary v Portugal. It was good for about 25 minutes :D

Maybe the knockout stage will be better or just peeved a bit. Because England still look shite. I can see us labouring to a 1-0 or 2-1 win over Iceland and getting fucked by France.

Great goal from shaqiri but I still stand by my belief that he is a fat, over-rated midget - his delivery (for a so called technical player) is nothing short of woeful (especially those corners that he launches into space  ) but he seems totally incapable of playing as part of a team as he tries to do it all himself

Can I also add, for those who happy that vardy didn't sign cos he wouldn't have suited us, you lot will be well pleased with xhaka - the more the tournament goes on, the less impressed I am with him as he is too happy to slow the game down by focusing on a passing game  It is no coincidence that the swiss looked a much better team in the second half when they switched to a higher tempo team and xhaka became peripheral

Fuck off Poland. UEFA should fine the lot of them for going straight to the Swiss fans and inciting them. How can they expect the fans to behave when you've got players winding them up?

Totally agree, I only wish half a dozen Swiss fans had run onto the pitch and lamped a few of them, would have served them right!! :box:
