I suspect the resurfacing of N'Zonzi rumour is a message to Torreira not to fuck us about.

Anyone else remember that Uruguayan keeper we signed but didn't sign about 15 years ago? One minute he had joined us and had a shirt done and the next minute the deal has broken down. Now, I've bothered to look it up, he was called Fabian Carini an it was all to do with his wage demands. Funny that back inll 2002, we didn't know that that term would destroy a thousand more transfers under the old *word censored*.

On a more positive note, isn't it fucking wonderful to have a summer transfer window going on without that stupid French *word censored* pontificating about everything and fucking everything up? It's like a whole new world has opened up without that prick around. Is this how the rest of the world lives?

Torreira and Guendouzi medicals today - David Ornstein.

Did he not play for us for a while ?

Re: Transfers / players in / players out merged thread
Guendouzi is 19 and meant to be a dynamic box to box midfielder who's technically gifted and has an eye for a pass. Few youtube videos of him floating about if you'd like to see him in action. Seems a big lad as well at 6'1".
And no Carini never played for us. Torreira will be our first ever Uruguayan.

Absolutely loving life as a gooner with that old twat in charge, telling us there's no one to buy and no business to be done. Fucked us around for 10 years. Good on you Dick, getting business done with the minimum of fuss. IMO we're going to be back in the Top 4 come the end of the season.
Re: Transfers / players in / players out merged thread
As I've said before Im not sure how much influence Dick actually has over all of this but im sure he has some.
Hats off to all of them for getting the business done and worrying about balancing the books later. The way we've acted in the transfer market this summer shows just how much control Wenger tried to keep over it all and how much he really was holding us back in terms of plugging the gaps in the squad. Wiggy might not put any funds in but I think its clear he doesn't hold any back either.... theres a budget that can be spent.
Amazing what can get done when your not off earning even more money for yourself being a pundit.... I mean what other current top manager actually does that?
Even if these signings don't turn out to be the right ones there is a change in the way the club is doing business. We are getting the players in first and worrying about players going the other way second.
Excellent so far from them all.

Why are we still doing the Ligue 1 lottery now TFOC has gone? It's Lorient's lucky year this time
