Argentinian midfielder Ricky Alvarez is set to be one of of several signings to be revealed by Arsenal on July 1.

While some Gunners fans have grown concerned by the apparent lack of transfer activity in comparison to their other title rivals, boss Arsene Wenger has been busy setting up deals.

The Frenchman is already looking to confirm Southampton youngster Alex Oxlade

i'm not sure alex-oxoxoxlade-chembachembalian-hill-wood, is like Walcott seems a more powerful player and a finisher?

So, 1st July the signings will be announced -

IN -
Alvarez, Gervinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Samba and my outside bet - Upson (I don't think he'll spend big on 2 CB's but may bring Upson in on a free)

OUT - errrrr......no-one currently but only a matter of time until we accept an offer for Fab.

It kind of makes sense now......Arsenal have a busy summer, sign several players, recoup all the money they spend by selling Cesc and when people moan they will say 'but we've signed 5 players, this is what the fans wanted'......

There's far too much cynicism about these signings we did, in fact, beat the mighty Palermo to Alvarez's signature!! :?
