THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Augie how many people do u want to leave before we have nobody !
We cannot allow everyone to go on loan we are short of midfield cover as it is .
Much as I'm not impressed with Djouronron's wage packet or length of contract ,we cannot just sell everyone !
Buy what ,we dont buy a lot of people haven't you realised that yet !
There are times when I think we should all go into a time capsule and come out when the debts paid circa 2016,but that can't happen either yet !

JD please go and drown yourself in a Vat of your own excrement !

Djourou is ok player as 4th choice but quite expensive for that role. Miquel probably is good enough as a cover and he is more likely to still improve as a player. Not an easy decision because Djourou is HG player also.

It is understandable Coquelin wants to play but he can't threaten to quit if there is no place for him in the starting lineup. He have to wait his chance and take it then. He is only one injury away from a starting lineup and will get his chance.

It's not that I have a set number that I want to leave (although if walnut, diaby, bendtner, shitatchi, denilson, flaps and djouru left I wont shed any tears  ) but, because I rate coquelin as a great prospect, I would like to see him going on loan to get regular game time to aid his development. Asking a player with his lack of experience to come in and fill such a crucial position as the DM position is, is simply not fair on the kid. I said that I would like to see a proven DM join us not that I expect the arseholes running our club to actually buy one so just cos they would rather skimp and try to do things on the cheap doesnt negate the need for a quality DM imo

Djourou loves the club.....RVP loved the club......Cesc and Nasri Loved the club.....

YOU ARE DELUDED WENGER!!!!

Most players do not love the club, they love the money

They love the fact that they can play crap week in week out and still play regularly under you

They love the fact that you will give them new improved contracts for achieving nothing

They love the fact that you have no intention of signing players who are top quality meaning most would not get a game

I don't think there is a bigger idiot in world football than Arsene Wenger. :banghead:

I seriously rate Coquelin. He needs to be more patient, he's only 21 and needs to fight for his place instead of coming out and contemplating a desire to leave if first team opportunities are scarce.

I must be the only one who would find Djourou and Giroud on the same team sheet just far too confusing :?

None of them is good for a goal either

I rate Frimpong ahead of Le Coquelin but I don't think we should let the lad go too soon, but it is good to see he is hungry to play, but why always the threat to leave???

I woke up today loving Arsenal more than ever, I am mental :barscarf:

Diaby is out so prabably Coquelin or Ramsey will start.
