Heres an unusual transfer target

I loved marwood when he was a winger back in the day but signing him in the DD role is a ridiculous notion - the fact that he was able to entice top players to citeeh might have a bit more to do with the size of the cheques he was offering rather than as a result in any great powers of negotiating on his behalf

Mancini was unhappy at the lack of transfer activity by Marwood so he's a perfect fit for Arsenal  :banghead: :cussing:

How hard is Marwood's job? Mancini wants to sign a player, City pay twice what he's worth in transfer fee and three times in wages, and the guy takes it if he wants the money.

It's not Marwood's fault Mancini wanted to sign Rodwell and Sinclair to add to collection of average English players Barry, Milner and Lescott, particularly now Adam Johnson isn't there.

Heard that alright - as a player I rate him but the injuries are a concern so it comes down to whether you feel he is worth the risk

i think Ba is a player we couldnt afford to take a chance on,we already have Giroud who is yet to really really shine although he is doing ok,not that Ba isnt proven but in a 4-5-1 where would we play him?who do we drop?? Wally shone yesterday,Ba scored two goals handed on a plate, you cant drop Wally for Ba.if we really need another striker id chuck podolski up there in a 4-4-2,some chance of that happening tho.i think chavski can afford to take a hit on Ba if he flops,we cant

Yeah I rate him but as you say if his knees are really that bad we are the last club the fucker should come to, cos when our medical team get hold of him you can rest assured that his knees will be well and truly fucked by the time he leaves the treatment room

Baines, Distin, Jelavic, Howard, Moyes.
Not a rumour but I'd say Baines would walk into our first 11. Distin would give Mert, Kos and TV a challenge. Jelavic for me offers more than Giroud. Howard would be ahead of Mannone and Flappy and be good competition for Chezza.

We cant compete eh?

Take Moyes tomorrow over Wenger.

As I've said before he's played 66 league games in 2 years since coming to the PL and that's with missing a few weeks to African Nations last year.

He's been virtually ever-present for the last 2 years and looking at his stats it's only 2009-10 at Hoffenheim where he's played a low number of games, other than when he had a double fracture of his leg and missed 8 months 6 seasons ago.

Ba pisses all over feo and every other striker we have at the club so to suggest that we wouldn't drop Wally for him is ludicrous
