As someone that has worked a lot with surveys over the years I should point out that "worst case scenario" options are generally oversubscribed by the people surveyed. We always "weight" survey results to allow for the natural inclination and "sway" towards negativity or inaction that is generated by limited interaction with a new process, method or regime.

It tells me your a thick shit. Just because base rates come down, it's only trackers that can definitely reduce payments. Mortgage rates are already on the floor and banks have to give their customers interest on their savings too you know.

how terrible. house prices that the majority complain about as too high come down to more realistic levels. poor old property magnates and by to let landlords inflating prices for young people unable to even dream of owning g a property. woe is them and anyone foolish enough to invest all their assets in bricks and mortar...which regardless will still be worth a load of cash, just not so much.
