Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
It's the idea that Wenger has changed and that the structure within the club to get deals done is adequate, which frustrates.
Unfortunately, it's Mr. Knows and any questioning of him and the club is treated North Korean style.

We may be second in the league and I have enjoyed our season so far, but deep down I think we all know the wheels are going to fall off. The club have fucked up yet another transfer window, not that we should be surprised.
My stance has not and will not change whatever happens.... Wenger out!

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
Giroud will get injured against Palace tomorrow and will be out for weeks. It's happened before when we didn't make signings we needed and it will just emphasise the apathy and lack of ambition of Dictator Wonga and the club as a whole.

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
I don't think Wenger has particularly c*cked up the January transfer window, but what he did, monumentally, was not get enough done in the summer, even though he himself identified it as a year where it was possible for us to compete with City and Chelsea etc. Agents know that they can play us like a harp to get a better deal for themselves (sorry, their clients
) where their players are already or elsewhere - so Guardiola did just that with Suarez. Thanks to inept and naive dealings, we are now the ultimate 'bait' club.
Draxler needs to have an ordinary world cup to stay within range. What worries me too is that Wenger can only focus on one player at a time. And Germany is probably the hardest country for a bad negotiator to do business with as they don't need to sell anyone, unlike Spain (we got Santi for a cut price) where so many clubs are flat broke.

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
I am a bit confused tbf, I thought we were trying to win the league
I don't understand Wenger anymore, he has worked marvels for Arsenal, that cannot be argued, now though I have a feeling he is doing things to prove a point.
We all know he is a very intelligent man, meaning that if all the twats on here (I include myself in that) can see our deficiencies then he can but why doesn't he take the necessary action to be a winner again?
I think it's too simplistic to blame it on stubbornness or arrogance, maybe he does believe that Ffp is the right way forward regardless of whether it will ever be truly implemented, I cannot tell and one day I am sure we will know when his autobiography is published.
This all leads to a point (thank fuck, yeah?) and that point is that I have found myself caring less about football (supporting anyway), this high end of the sport is far far removed from the common man, it is more exclusive now than cricket or golf, fuck me soon it will up there with polo
We are supporting MULTI millionaires who in the main couldn't give two fucks worth for the club or it's supporters, players like bendtner who behave like morons and contribute very very little for the millions invested.
We all wanted a big name signing in the form of a world class striker, I indeed wanted him to splash the insane amount of money it would take to get one.
This led me to our last £40 million + purchase and to be quite honest I am somewhat underwhelmed what a colossal amount of money actually buys, I quite expected a player who stops a shot from an opposing player on our own goal line, beats 3 men in our own box, saunters up to the half way line right next to the oppositions dug out (we are playing the chavs in this scenario otherwise it might be wrong
) leaves the ball on the pitch, walks over to the chavs beautiful physio and gives her the rodgering of her life, wipes his knob on mourinho's Armani coat on the way back to the pitch, gets back on the ball (he's that good that he has the time
) beats 3 more *word censored* on the way to the edge of the box, sells terry 5 step overs which totally unbalances him and while terry is prostate on the ground he literally walks over his body, his feet so majestic that his studs carve out the words "you c.unt" on his chest, the ball still no further than a few inches from his still gleaming boots, he even has time to retie one of his laces as it was not quite so perfect as the other lace knot, out comes the helmeted one to smother the ball and with a flick he sends the ball up to his own head and walks around the now grounded helmeted one doing keep-me-ups and walks into the goal with the ball now balanced perfectly on his goggly eyes, he then rolls it gently and kisses the ball and let's it fall magnificently into the net.....perfect
You know what, I have totally fuckin forgotten what my point was

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
We’re not Madrid or City or PSG when it comes to valuation or fees, AW has to plan for the next purchase, or the next 3-5 purchases in relation to our budget, he probably already has them in his head. He’s always appeared to be a long term planner
You couldn't make this shit up. Yep when we got drubbed 8-2 at OT and he ran round signing Arteta, Santos, Park and Mertesacker in the desperate hours that followed I remember thinking.......there's a long term planner. Amazing how that plan all came together at once that day
Who are these fucking James Hunts that make this shite up

Isn't this site run by that "George from Blackburn" *word censored* who rings into the Fans Forum but never speaks much sense because he's got Wenger's cock and balls in his mouth?

Either him....or my old man's suddenly taken his 'silver surfer' skills to new levels by creating a new forumDan_85 wrote:SteveO 35 wrote:We’re not Madrid or City or PSG when it comes to valuation or fees, AW has to plan for the next purchase, or the next 3-5 purchases in relation to our budget, he probably already has them in his head. Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
We are still in with a shout of the league and F A cup (forget the CL), are things really that bad?
Expecting Arsenal to win the league at the moment, is a tough task, with the money City and Chels have spent, its like asking Atletico madrid to win the spanish league against Barca or Real, and everyone knows its not going to happen.
