To be fair to Wenker he did shake his head from side to side on a couple of occasions, which clearly is a signal to the team to do something different.

Pedestrian against a team that came out 100% going for it

Wonder if in his press conference when asked what went wrong he will respond " I don't know" like usual when he has been outthought and outfought.

It wasn't some tactical master plan. They turned up and we didn't.

We gifted them 2 goals early doors....game over. They had us in the right place.

They beat us for the same reason we beat them in November. We had a fast moving pressing midfield that turned up, they had Stevie Mee.
Once they got those 2 criminal early goals, he was in his element and could get away with being slow and ponderous because even though we were a couple of goals behind, we were moving the ball so slowly allowing them to get bodies around us, yet when our midfield lost the ball we bearly worked up a sweat trying to win it back.
