F**k Cole, I don't want CSKA London's bloody hand-me-downs

Not a player we need. If we are going for hand me downs, why not go for De Jong now Man Sheiky have loads of holding midfielders.

It's all a smokescreen though, Wengers probably linned up Kalou as his top transfer target again :banghead:
Agree on the DJ front, most of the pundits going on about Robben and Sneijder when it was De Jong that owned that midfiled in the 2nd half. They will kiss him for the semis, hopefully he makes it to a final. If the Shitty let him go when he's younger than Barry and Terry, then they really have got more money than sense.

Rednapp's a twat, if Cole goes somewhere else, he will look like a t**t, sorry an even bigger t**t.

People keep saying he's not a player we need. Wrong, we do need him. Too many of the similar players are not in the same league as a fit Cole. Walcott, Rosicky, Nasri.....personally I'd have Cole above any of them. He's a fighter, a winner and a game changer.
Yep, we need other players as well but getting hold of Cole does not stop Wenger from strengthening the other important areas, if he finally deicdes to pull his finger out and do it.

Signing Cole will lift the place as well. The fans will love him and like I say if he's over his serious injury then we should get in there

Eboue why we do not need joe cole unless we sell at least two of the players playing in his position that are already at the club. What is the point in having 6 wingers (nasri, arshavin, rosicky, theo, eboue already in club) and not having a genuine quality keeper, a no nonsense tough DM or a quality partner for vermaelen ? Signing another player of this type is fcuking madness (expect wenger to make it happen than  ) when we have sooo many other positions to fill and tying up 10m+ that we will be giving joe cole in wages and signing on fee is cash that should be used elsewhere 8)

Exactly Augie. Sorry, I didn't say that but yep, get rid of Rosciky definitely, sadly not the player he was. Walcott? Desperately want him to suceed but.....Arshavin? Exceptional player but too big for his own boots if you believe everything you read, in and out of games etc Nasri? Too inconsistent etc I'm all for making room for Cole AND filling the GK, CH and CM gaps too. I repeat, an over his injury Cole will give us much more going forward than a lot of what we have.

I just need to be loved, claims Cole

Joe Cole believes his best days are ahead of him and wants to find a manager who "loves him" as he considers who to join after leaving Chelsea.

Cole became a free agent on July 1 after his contract at Stamford Bridge expired, with a host of clubs now seemingly vying for his signature.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp, Cole's former boss at West Ham, revealed earlier this week that he had spoken to the player, with Arsenal among those also reportedly interested.

Manchester United insist they are not in the hunt for the player, though several reports suggest Sir Alex Ferguson's side could still come back in for the playmaker.

Quoted in several Sunday newspapers, the 28-year-old said: "I'm thinking about my own future now. I want to play in a more central position, like I did at West Ham.

"I feel I've got a lot more still to offer and my best days are ahead of me.

"I want the right kind of manager - a manager who loves me, who will put me in the team.

"At Chelsea there were players who could have two or three dreadful games before they were left out. I only had to have a dreadful 20 minutes and I was out."

Meanwhile, Cole believes the influx of foreigners into the Premier League is to blame for England's poor World Cup campaign.

The 28-year-old, who saw just 44 minutes' action in South Africa, reckons big-name arrivals from overseas are preventing young English talent from breaking through at club level.

"When I came through at West Ham our league was probably the fifth best league in the world," he said.

"A group of us came through at the same time and we were able to do that because of how things were in England then.

"Now, though, the Premier League is the best league in the world. That means it is much tougher for kids to break through.

"Maybe we're paying the price for having the best league in the world."

Cole also backed up Franz Beckenbauer's assessment that there is too much "kick and rush" in English football.

"Every team I have played for - from West Ham to Chelsea to England - want to hit the front players as early as possible," he said.

"You won't get away with that at international level. It's about technique, keeping control of the ball, passing and moving.

"Chelsea do that more than other teams in the Premier League, and that's why we've been successful, and it's the same with Manchester United and Arsenal.

"I was brought up that way and that's always been the way forward.

"Maybe it's time to really look at how we are teaching kids to play. Is there talent coming through? To be honest, I don't know."
