But you just know that this is going to be used as an argument FOR people having guns to protect themselves from nutters like these two.

Tbh I think this level of (semi-)organised terrorism is different to what has happened at Sandy Hook etc and, although they're clearly not right in the head, these two are certainly not "mentally ill" and hence the types of reforms that have been touted wouldn't have stopped them from getting weapons.

I'm sure most people agree we could really have done without these being Muslim (not that it would reduce the tragic loss of life and impact on survivors etc) but unfortunately it's looking like they probably are.

It is in Massachusetts.
Gun laws there are probably the strictest of any state, assault rifles are not widely permitted.
Though people can buy them in other states and bring them into the state.

RIP. Sad sad news. :(

Met Tony Grealish at a footy club trophy night and he was brilliant, signed autographs, chatted to everybody. Nice guy.

He played in a great Irish team that were desperately unlucky not to go the the 1982 World Cup in Spain. Two disallowed goals in the group in France and Belgium cost them dearly. Replays showed both goals should have stood. Don't know how old you are DB10GOONER, but that was a team and time that you could follow Ireland. You could go to games and be surrounded(or not so surrounded) by football people. Not a bandwagoner in sight. My first Ireland game was against Holland in September 1980 when Ireland with goals from Gerry Daly and Mark Lawernson saw them come from behind to win 2-1. Midfield of Daly, Grrealish, Brady and probably Tony Galvin. But "success made a failure of our home" to quote Sinead O Connor.

I can just see them all now hiding under their fucking coffee tables clutching their AK47 assault rifles, trembling with fear as their huge fat ass underpants fill with diarrhea.
Yeah, because you would have been out there in the streets taking them on single handily. Mind you, you are the one who said, "I have a feeling this will be the work of the American far right or a lone nutcase". Wrong.

Laughable to see certain people on here pouring their hearts out about recently deceased people whilst wishing others dead on other threads. Stomach turning. Hypocrites. Cue Quartzgoon deleting this email for fear of one of his chums being offended.
