Mate I know he's shit, you're preaching to the choir. But he's been shit for years, as has Squillaci, as has Fabianski, as has Mannone and many others and they're still here, and as have Denilson and Nicky B but we're still paying them to piss fans of other clubs off.
If Wenger can make 4th place a trophy he can definitely spin selling Djourou as better than signing a new player.

Ba unlikely to go to Chelsea ...I imagine even less likely to go to Arsenal. Birmingham have said that they are willing to listen to offers for Jack Butland..might be worth a shout as cover/competition but only if they took Fabianski as part of the deal.

denilson is looking for a new contract....
can you imagine a midfield central pairing of denilson and ramsay
The People says we're getting Brian Brian Marwood on the wing, as sporting director in January to replace DD. i'd not be opposed - ex Arsenal man, not sure how respected he is overseas mind.

Has he got sufficient standing in the european game to be a deal breaker ?
I know he was players PFA rep during his time here, which rubbed GG up the wrong way once or twice, so may well be versed in negotiating etc but wouldn't a Vieira, a Bergkamp or a Henry carry more clout across Europe ?
Marwood was great for the short spell that he was here, but it was just that a short spell, not many seasons like the legends I mentioned above. Does he a) love the club enough to sell it to another player or b) know its history sufficiently to impress it apon a rising star ?

Marwood negotiated the Toure, Clichy and Nasri deals...for city.
