The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Any agreement reached for Gabriel will contain a clause cancelling the deal should Arsenal fail to secure a work permit. [Evening Standard]

I reckon Paulista is a done deal, just waiting for the visa as wenger doesn't talk about transfer unless he is sure a deal is done. A bit of an experienced centre back, exactly what we need and wouldn't be surprised if reid comes in with jenkinson going the other way. Shame as he's a Gooner and is going to be a solid premiership defender.

I agree the club must be certain they are going to get Paulista, Wonga never talks about going after a player normally.
Still worried about the permit though, if we buy him and he can't play this season it's a fuck up to rival the signing of Kim Kallstrom!

In other words he's shit.

Not true. He's made over 40 appearances a season for Dortmund the past five years and was in Germany's world cup squad this summer. That bid is embarrassing if it's real.

I have queried this with my various contacts on Twitter ,it's not on pravda.com but coming from allegedly Villerreal themselves.
