It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Who and what are you talking about? - if you're saying forum members are posting that they want footballers dead, send me a link and I'll happily delete that sort of disgusting nonsense. Or are you on the wind up?

RIP. Sad sad news.
Met Tony Grealish at a footy club trophy night and he was brilliant, signed autographs, chatted to everybody. Nice guy.
He played in a great Irish team that were desperately unlucky not to go the the 1982 World Cup in Spain. Two disallowed goals in the group in France and Belgium cost them dearly. Replays showed both goals should have stood. Don't know how old you are DB10GOONER, but that was a team and time that you could follow Ireland. You could go to games and be surrounded(or not so surrounded) by football people. Not a bandwagoner in sight. My first Ireland game was against Holland in September 1980 when Ireland with goals from Gerry Daly and Mark Lawernson saw them come from behind to win 2-1. Midfield of Daly, Grrealish, Brady and probably Tony Galvin. But "success made a failure of our home" to quote Sinead O Connor.
Old enough, Bradywasking!
Followed them a good bit in the 80's and 90's before the poxy corporate wankers started taking all the tickets and the FAI stopped giving a fuck about real football fans and whored themselves to any cúnt with money.
Used to be a great day out; few beers with the lads, a good football crowd, no one on iPhone's or pointing cameras every two seconds, fans that knew the names of the players... bit like following the Arsenal used to be.
Our wonderful labrador died on the operating table today.
No signs up til today, x-ray showed a tumour the size of an orange, they tried to remove it but he didn't make it.
Life can be a right old twat. I've lost my best friend and until you've owned a dog and then lose it, it's difficult to explain how heartbroken and devastated you feel.
Just the best stupid friendly Lab you could ever hope to meet!
RIP son
Genuinely sorry to hear that EW... Thing is with our four legged friends unlike humans they just love us because they do - unconditionally - they don't ask anything back except that we love em also. The Native American Indians call it "Sweet Medicine" because indeed that's what it is. sorry mate feel for you.

Man's best friend for sure - they don't ask for anything except a walk now and then, some food and water.
Miss my black lab no end

Has likely faked his own death to avoid repaying money that he scammed.
Check out the Conspiracy Worldwide podcast below and scroll to 2hr:31min where Kool Keith and TR can’t stop laughing about Tim Dog’s death saying “there’s more to the story” and that they “can’t really comment on it” then at 2hr:49min the host calls Tim Dog’s phone number and some dude answers only to hang-up and have that number disconnected the next day. -UGSMAG.com

Bloody heck EW. That is shit news to hear. It's a huge shock to the system, especially when it is unexpected. I've seen grown men cry over the same, me included. No shame there.
No words can make you feel any better any sooner. I just hope that you find a way to cope with you significant loss pal.
