Wenger Out Banner

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

'Wenger Out'

To me this seems more than reasonable at this stage. I do understand why people wanted it to be polite and respectful to Wenger but I think by now that is far more than he deserves. He's been given a very long time to do the decent thing and leave in a dignified way but he has chosen not to.
The reasoning was to try not to be too disrespectful to Wenger in acknowlegement for the great times he has brought us and his achievements. My feeing was that "WENGER OUT" was too blunt. (There is a thread about how the banner should be worded on here somewhere that should show how the wording was decided)

Also there was the issue of other fans who were still solidly behind Wenger and an attempt to be a little diplomatic about it.
That worked well didn't it?

I think the "thanks for the memories banner" is pretty much perfect. The "4th place" banner is just an attempt to use Wengers own words to highlight what a lot of us think.

Not bad... Another "respectful" banner could be "thank you wenger, but your time has come" :D

The above Banners are fine....but no matter what we say or how we try to phrase it (respectfully or otherwise)...The AKB's will have kittens....What needs to be realised is that they are as blind as the old fool himself.....so how about something along the line's of

"ARSENE !!! YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU!
SO PLEASE FUCK OFF!!!"

:D ....... :D ....... :D

The man should do the decent thing and resign before his reputation is tarnished anymore

He will see out his contract in 2014. He probably feels hr built this club (which to some extent is true)
