As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Brilliant too how as our goals went in, the gooners nodding/winking and hand shaking increased as the match progressed.
Unbelievable day
Not sure what block it was., but I saw a good few with no Hull colours on bit with an Arsenal / Hull scarf clapping Santi's goal - maybe they were just very good sports ?
Honestly think I nearly killed the older fella next to me in 523. He was struggling to stand for most of extra time and clutching at his heart. Fair play to the bloke, he was kicking every ball out there. Loved it.
The biggest shock on this whole thread is that - despite everything they themselves have said - there are still some people who view UKIP as a serious political party... They are just a slightly older and better dressed (slightly) version of the NF, BNP... Hands up if you are voting UKIP if you have also liked the Britain First page on Facebook !

That people find erstwhile commodities trader Farage a 'man of the people' just shows how amorphous and interchangeably bland Miliband, Cameron, Clegg et al are.
All career politicians whose main concern is climbing the career ladder first, actual constituents needs a very distant second.
Scratch below the surface of Ukip policies and you'll find a complete absence of anything.

I think the fact that sanya jeet-thandi an asian who resigned from the party last month says it all, an insider that could see that the party thrives on ignorance more than anything else. Anyone with half a brain could see how vile these people are. For what it's worth I think there are better comics out there than Lenny Henry but to tell him to go emigrate to a black country is a bit strong, and thats what UKIP are all about.
Going back to Hull fans, the comments posted on this thread show a lot of them up for what they are. Sadly that's the attitude you get from large swathes of working class britain up north.

Reaching the FA Cup final is still an achievement but the only PL team they played to get there were Sunderland who were awful at that point. At Sunderland he spent a relative fortune and didn't really justify it on the pitch.
Also the first thing I noticed when the teams came out is what a proper fat bastard he is. Even from the other side of the pitch, hell of a gut on the bloke.
Everyone at the pins was commenting on that, he was never slimmer of the year but Christ he makes the Michelin man look like Karen Carpenter
There are a lot of bang average managers making, or should that be stealing a living in this league. Step forward Hughton,Solskjaer,DVD,Arry,Timmy,Maureen if you take his cash away. I know that last one is controversial but I'm sorry Maureen is Fat Sam with better quality players.
I agree with most of that but how are you judging that ? Where is pulis on that list ? Are you suggesting that he shouldnt be on it cos he knows how to set up teams like palace to ensure they dont get relegated ? If so do you believe our esteemed wenker would be able to get the same out of that palace squad and if not then how do you grade him ? Tactically he is clueless but he has better players to work with thus frequently masking his tactical ineptitude but working with a club like palace could badly expose him. I'm not trying to turn this into a wenker bash (heaven forbid) but am suggesting that maybe some of the managers you listed could do the same job as wenker if they had the same quality of players to work with and yet we we do judge them differently

Please don't make comments like that just because a very small minded minority have some right wing views doesn't mean all people are. Also it sounds like you are a racist of the north south divide also maybe the word SWATHES really didn't fit in your comment. I don't want to fall out with anyone.. there are black racists white racists and territorial ones too.
Ukip just want to curb immigration this country has been built on hardworking migrants and we have all prospered but with the influx becoming quite High and sponging from our taxes one does become a little frustrated.. you can only reap what you sow . Everybody is welcome in every country but you must help sustain and work hard not take take take ..

It is expected that UKIP will push the tories into third place, so thats hardly a minority is it ? My comments on working class northerners are based on personal experience. I have many connections in the north east in particular and whilst I have not seen blatant racism, I have seen ignorance on a massive scale. It's not meant with bad intentions, but it is ingrained into the mind set of an awful lot of people.
There is no doubt that this is replicated across the country but it is more prevalent in the north, where the ethnic minorities tend to keep to themselves rather than mix with the indigenous communities. London is the exact polar opposite on the other hand. There's nothing racist about these comments, its exactly how it is.

Lets agree to disagree ..My Minority comment was pointed out at the racist comment regarding the post about the snoop dog comment.. I have Asian Indian friends they sometimes do go on about there heritage but there proud of what there parents have achieved. We all bleed the same color.

Yeah I did try to keep it on track when the original UKIP comments where made, but totally agree we should be revelling in our glory this week. Amen to that.

Seconded, every now and then I remember and have a smile on my face, sometimes it breaks out in a big grin.
I shouldn't be so f**king happy, but can't help it we've waited a while and doing it the Arsenal way(as in nearly f**king it up big style, then snatching it at the death)just feels brilliant and will do till the transfer window closes and Arsene brings us back down to earth with Ligue 2 sh*te, a fat brazillian defender and a reject from Manure. But till then....
