Great boost to see the great man getting his fitness back. He'll save us a fortune in the market if he gets back to his imperious best1989 wrote:Diaby says hello from the treatment room

The Imperious One is back!!
I guess that will mean that there is no need for Wenger to buy another midfielder then.

poor old Abou. Sadly for him don't think he'll even get a chance to be LANS for us.
Good luck elsewhere.

Re: Abou Diaby - injuries
Its not really a priority position to fill though is it......Cazorla, Wilshere, Abou and The Ox are all more than capable as attacking midfielders and if we signed a proper holding midfielder then Arteta could also be allowed to play his natural gameI Hate Hleb wrote:The Imperious One is back!!I guess that will mean that there is no need for Wenger to buy another midfielder then.

I would say an attacking central midfielder is the last position we need to think about

It was a defensive midfielder that I had in mind SteveO, because in 'Wenger World' Abou is apparently a DM!!

Re: Abou Diaby - injuries
Nope, Inspector Clueless has got him marked down as a left winger with Podolski and Bendtner the other players for that positionI Hate Hleb wrote:It was a defensive midfielder that I had in mind SteveO, because in 'Wenger World' Abou is apparently a DM!!![]()

SteveO, where have you been? That was so 'yesterday'!! Last season Wenger was talking up Abou's ability to play the defensive role in place of the departed Song.SteveO 35 wrote:Nope, Inspector Clueless has got him marked down as a left winger with Podolski and Bendtner the other players for that positionI Hate Hleb wrote:It was a defensive midfielder that I had in mind SteveO, because in 'Wenger World' Abou is apparently a DM!!![]()

Has switched his squad number to 24.
He'll be hoping his injury curse will end with that.
