Great boost to see the great man getting his fitness back. He'll save us a fortune in the market if he gets back to his imperious best

poor old Abou. Sadly for him don't think he'll even get a chance to be LANS for us.
Good luck elsewhere.

Its not really a priority position to fill though is it......Cazorla, Wilshere, Abou and The Ox are all more than capable as attacking midfielders and if we signed a proper holding midfielder then Arteta could also be allowed to play his natural game

I would say an attacking central midfielder is the last position we need to think about

It was a defensive midfielder that I had in mind SteveO, because in 'Wenger World' Abou is apparently a DM!! :banghead: :banghead:

Nope, Inspector Clueless has got him marked down as a left winger with Podolski and Bendtner the other players for that position :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

SteveO, where have you been? That was so 'yesterday'!! Last season Wenger was talking up Abou's ability to play the defensive role in place of the departed Song.

Has switched his squad number to 24.

He'll be hoping his injury curse will end with that.
