On a serious note, after 25 minutes we were forced to endure listening to jim beglin writing hodgson off and I don't think that is fair - no he is not blameless, but a team with the quality they have, should beat that Iceland team without a manager. the English players continue to let the manager, their fans and their country down, but yet they will escape relatively unscathed (with exception of shrek) whilst the manager will be absolutely lynched

England are not blessed with options everywhere but Kane has been god awful this tournament and Rooney in the CM role is terrible for the side as it just means slow abject sideways football from him and the team.

All we heard for a week and a half was how phenomenal Kyle Walker is, but he is leaving the tournament with a negative net contribution of one goal.

Joe Hart has let England down and surely the next England manager has to seriously consider dropping him. It's just clanger after clanger.

The most Arsenal-like performance I've seen in a long time. Ran out of ideas, players stopped putting the effort in and the longer it went on the less likely England looked to score.

Well played Iceland they made England look second rate, only conciliation was that England's starting line up consisted of 5 spuds let's hope they continue their crap form in the new season.
