Didn't know his 1000th game in charge was coming up - that's dashed my hopes of him fcuking off then cos making a fanfare of his 1000th game and new contract is exactly what the club is about nowadays as they do party tricks and distract you with one hand so that you don't pay attention to the other hand which is robbing you blind   :cussing:

I believe moaninho will get what he wants out of this whole saga - he practically dared wenker to stay on (with that failure jibe) knowing that le cock won't take the taunt too well and will want to ram it down moaninho's throat

Arsenal have reportedly put plans to unveil boss Arsene Wenger's new contract on hold.

The Gunners wanted to reveal the contract at the Frenchman's 1,000th match in charge later this month.

But according to The Sun, Emirates insiders have become increasingly concerned by Wenger's refusal to commit himself to the £160,000-a-week contract agreed in principle last year.

Chief executive Ivan Gazidis said in January: "Arsene will be extending with us and, at the right time, we will announce that."

Yet behind the scenes, there are said to be growing fears that Britain's longest-serving manager could yet walk away when his current deal expires at the end of the season.

Wenger, 64, has always maintained he will only sign a new deal when he is certain his team can win honours again.

He was enraged by Jose Mourinho's "specialist in failure" jibe and knows those accusations will be hurled at him once more if Arsenal fail to end their nine-year trophy drought after topping the Premier League table for four months.

The Frenchman joined in October 1996 and his 1,000th match will be at Chelsea on March 22 - unless Arsenal draw next week's FA Cup tie, in which case it will be at Goodison Park on March 18 or 19.

How could anyone really fear Wenger going? What are they fearing? That we might win even less than the fuck all we've won since 2005? :banghead:

Please please please .... What can we do to encourage Wenger to go.?!?

All we want is hope that with all the resources the club has, that we stand a chance of building a winning team.

He does not know how to do this (too much evidence over 10 years) , look at the total wage bill... He has spent a lot ( there's NO MONEY CONSTRAINTS!!!!)

Please please ... What can we do to rid ourselves of him ?!?!?!

Same problem all game, same problem every week, same problem every season. Wenger is so blind to why we are failing and so resistant to change.
