Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
Very strong (insider) rumour from Germany that Ozil is off in the Summer - Has had a melt down with Wenker about "Der Mangel an Spielern" (lack of a proper striker' - Apparently when he signed wenger promised him we would be signing a 'world class striker' (for Ozil to play to) plus a few other things... half the team are with wenger (ramsey, giroud et al) and half have 'had enough'......so the fans are split, the team is split...what further damage can the *word censored* do
GET OUT WENGEr !

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
So much for the testimonial

I guess they are mug enough to pay his ridiculous wages

I hope it's true and that his reasons for leaving are made very fucking public when he goes (As it should have been with RvP's departure, although the 'little boy inside' comment ruined his credibility and turned Gooners against him).OneBardGooner wrote:Very strong (insider) rumour from Germany that Ozil is off in the Summer - Has had a melt down with Wenker about "Der Mangel an Spielern" (lack of a proper striker' - Apparently when he signed wenger promised him we would be signing a 'world class striker' (for Ozil to play to) plus a few other things... half the team are with wenger (ramsey, giroud et al) and half have 'had enough'......so the fans are split, the team is split...what further damage can the *word censored* do

Anyway, Ozil's not tough enough for this league and without a proper striker to feed, he's expendable for a good cause, like shining a light on TOF and his negligent practices, IMO. I'd be gutted if Sanchez left, on the other hand.
Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
From todays independent newspaper, Arsenal in negotiations for Mahrez and kante at around £60 million
That will test there resolve to keep them
On the negative side just what i expected from Wenger to finally spend big in the hope of glory and an extended contract no doubt
If he was decided to go end of next season would the board sanction such an outlay???

1. Wengers going nowhere . Expect a contract extension announcement after the season tickets have been paid for
2. Its season ticket renewal time of course we were buying everyone
3. If we do spend 60 million its because we will sell this amount or more in sales of the Ox ,Walcott and 1 out of Ozil or Sanchez !
Debuchy wont be sold because no one wants him even on a free @ 70 k per week but will be loaned out at a fraction of his cost to us !
That' is it !

Wenger will spend $60 million after we lose $100 million in players going out.

Played 16 games this season scored 8. Needs to be more injury prone and stop shooting in order to tick all the boxes.begeegs wrote:http://www.espnfc.co.uk/story/2868675/a ... ssy-source

I don't see how him spending in the transfer window, and getting a new contract, have any link with each other. Silent Stan will do his usual, and have fuck all interest in what the team does next season. His only interest will be to check the table in May 2017, to see are we above 5th place. The owner and board are going to offer Wenger a new contract next season, regardless of what happens.Redarmy wrote:From todays independent newspaper, Arsenal in negotiations for Mahrez and kante at around £60 million

Xhaka deal imminent apparently, good signing if it happens.

This.........except he won't spend anywhere NEAR that much!!
The Xhaka deal will be done because Wonga KNOWS he is selling Sanchez for big bucks. We'll end up making £30m profit on the two deals and that will be it, a straight swap and in Wonga's eyes, a fabulous deal to secure his financial bonus from the Kranky man.
'Be careful what you wish for' some said......well it works both ways and with Wonga staying, you'll see the best players leaving Arsenal once again now. The sheep wanted it and now they are going to pay for it.
ZERO AMBITION!!
