Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don't usually bother with Cricket... BUT (thanks to Drogon TV) (and Clummo! )

I am watching the T20 between India and Pakistan...

And like WOW!

The ferocity and skill of both the Bowlers and the Batsmen is Awesome!

The 2 best Cricket Teams in the world who due to politics and the threats of terrorisim haven't played in ages..

But seriously what 2 amazing teams! :hail: :hail:
Tut tut Bard. Didn't you know you're not allowed to refer to them as batsmen anymore? They have to be called Batters now. A name that the cricket traditionalists have always frowned upon.

And no I'm not kidding.
It's because it excludes women. Also, a couple of weeks ago they had a high level game where the bottom third of the wickets were painted in the rainbow colours. This weekend all the football captain's armbands were in the colours. Next up the officials will be in rainbow kit.....then away teams...........

Btw DB, where are the rainbow flag emoji's?? I don't want to report this site but, in the name of equity, equality, anti racism, wokeness and BLM I might just have to.

How very dare you sir! We are as vapidly pc as the next shower of arseholes!

Here, take this! :gayflag:

I stand corrected....and deeply embarrassed. Can one cancel oneself??
Would that make you ex - xisstential ?
I’m not sure my brain could cope with that

Haaland's goal was clearly a foul.
Nothing to do with strength - simply shoved the defender out of the way.
Exactly what I thought 🤔 it was a foul all day long ffs.It can get put in beside the red he should've got v Palace a few weeks ago aswell.

The scum have made pathetically heavy weather of an absolutely laughably weak group which, in all fairness, wouldn't look out of place in that Europa Conference thing. Let them get though and then get smashed 8-0 on aggregate by a decent team. Don't want them ending up in the Europa League getting a piss easy draw and their media luvvies proclaiming another one of their shit managers as the next Kevin Keegan or fucking whatever. More mileage in them getting thrashed in this and exposed as always.
