McDowell its over dude...no more - Hallelujah
Re: McDowell's VANITY 'Rumours' Thread
Diaby has talent, there is no doubt about that. Its the getting fit that he needs.
A lot of the people calling for him to be gone are the same people saying RVP should be sold due to his at one time injury problems. I feel Diaby is worth sticking with.

The voice of reason Rigsby. We have a potential £40m+ footballer on our hands here and people just want to flush him outrigsby wrote:Diaby has talent, there is no doubt about that. Its the getting fit that he needs.

Worth sticking with if we reduced his wages to £10k a game pay as you play contract but not £3m a year for playing 45 mins.I would keep Benayoun and get rid of the ambulance case

And as one who is never afraid to hold their hand up, I will say that I was one who felt that we should have cut our losses with rvp long before this season and tbh there is a big part of me worried shitless that a new mega deal will see the return of the old injury prone rvp. However the difference between rvp and diaby is as start as night and day - rvp has undoubted football intelligence on the pitch, knows what to do at the right time, is clinical in front of goal and a leader of men whilst diaby is none of the above. Personally in a squad that is top heavy with overpaid players I would pack his bags for him and send him on his way

BYE BYE ROBIN
The club is offering him £130k a week....same wages that Manure part-timer Nani is being offered on his new contract.
This for the best striker in the league. The club is an absolute embarrassment.
What is funny, is that it's clear as the light of day that Wenger and Gazidis want to cash in on RVP. It's their wet dream: £2.75 mil signing, cheap and as a youngster...sell him on for mammoth profits.
So already, we begin to get leaked bullshit that' Gazidis and Wenger fear Man Citeh will sign RVP'
Why do they 'fear' this? Far as I am aware, RVP still has a year left on his contract and this club is in a financial position to let him run it down. If not, the club is in a position to dictate the terms upon which he leaves. Remember what Ferguson did when Heinze wanted to join Liverpool? Despite having just a year left on his Manure contract?
The reason we now hear the club 'fear' Citeh, is because they are paving the way to makes the excuse to sell to Citeh.
Yeah Arsene, we all really hate Citeh's 'financial doping'.
Especially when our lying dishonourable manager uses Citeh as a personal bank (Nasri, Bayor, Clichy, Kolo and next RVP).
RVP is gone. And as I predicted, Podolski will be his inferior 'replacement'. Going backwards yet AGAIN.

Under no circumstances should van persie be allowed run down his contract and walk away for free next summer
I would sell him to the scum before I would let him walk for free
Btw 25m for rvp is too cheap even with only 1 year remaining

But on the bright side we could sign two Gervinho's with that whopping sum of £25mfrankbutcher wrote:RVP is gone.

You and many others my friend. Another nice tidy little transfer profit to be pocketed, but never fear the club are working hard on Joel Campbell's work permit !Babatunde wrote:

You seem to forget as well that apparently Walcott's best position is as a central striker and Wenger is planning to convert him, so when 'super quality' Ryo returns as well, we have a ready made succession plan
Now go and fetch that ST money and be a good lad

As much as I despise him didn't Nasri want assurances from Wenger and the club to see if they would strengthen?clockender1 wrote:Mail says talks in deadlock...

I have a feeling that RVP doesn't want to go, but equally he wants to be playing alongside quality players and winning trophies too. If we compete in the transfer market I'm sure RVP will stay.
