The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not according to Sky.

Believe what you want to believe this time of year though.
Apart from nearly every reliable journalist reporting it as pretty much done. Gladbach are supposedly waiting for a replacement before officially announcing it. Everyone on this forum is well aware of the bullshit transfer shitfest that happens every year.

We've been here with numerous players over the years so not arsed until Xhaka is on Pravda telling the world the only reason he signed was because of Arsene Wenger.

time or telegraph said yesterday wellbecks injury MAY change wengers mind about signing a new striker, before he was prepared to let wellbeck stake a claim for the position.

now he may have to sign someone

ffs internal solutions and no ambition for that worldclass striker only considering signing one cos of wellbecks injury.

Xhaka liked Elneny's Instagram post of him and Ozil. More than likely fucking meaningless, considering that Bemzema followed Wilshire on Twitter last year.

We're going to spend all Summer fucking about with this Xhaka guy aren't we?

Watched him 30 times supposedly, and we're going to bitch and moan about the difference between £24m and £30m, let the whole saga run over the entire European Championships before watch him signing for someone else. TO1AW will then claim that we were never interested in him at all, before changing his view 5 years later when the bloke is ripping it up somewhere else and he'll line up with the virtual Yaya Toure in our ever strengthening Virtual XI

Did you see how long it took Bayern to sign two top qualitee players? Announced Sanches and Hummels within 30 minutes of each other after nabbing the former since United were dragging their heels. No fucking about, just identify a target and pay the asking price.

Bastards only went and asked if the players were for sale!! How can we compete with that? Oil money, billionaire owners, managers who ask questions............we're fucked!! :banghead:

I'm sure too that the players went knocking on the managers' doors.

If we are signing anyone it will drag on for weeks, see the old spender has been reported as offering £750,000 for a Bolton CB...thats more like it
See that Emirates move and highest ticket prices are really paying off now..
