Agreed. One of the best ones taken, placed it right in the top and even if Kepa went the right way it would've gone in. Jorginho has to have the title of worst pen.

WTAF were you two watching? He just lashed it and was lucky it went in off the under side of the crossbar. An inch higher and it was a rebound ffs.  Some of those pennos were superbly placed. His wasn't one.

You can see from the way he took it that it was meant for that corner. He couldn’t go top bins because with that tragectory the ball would’ve hit the crossbar dead on. If he puts it too low is risky.

In a way, he had to hit with his laces otherwise the ball isn’t out of GK’s reach. We might have different interpretation of the ‘perfect’ pen but his along with Azpilacueta and Hazard were the good ones.

Which of those pens were superb though? :) - Gundogan was low corner, Emerson was save worthy, Aguero was shit, B Silva was dead middle, Luiz was shit.

Sterling was nowhere near the corner with it. It scuffed off the crossbar about 3 or 4 foot in from the corner.

The superb pennos were Gundogan (deep in the bottom corner keeper sent the wrong way) and Azpilicueta (who's penno was the only one that went top corner). Hazard was ballsy but lucky. If the keeper stands or goes late he saves that and Hazard looks a tool - the chip penno down the middle is always the riskiest. Coaches always tell you to keep your pennos 6 inches to a foot in from the posts and the same under the crossbar. A penno taker should never hit the crossbar or post. Look what happened to Sideshow Bob. An inch to the left and it was in but still would not have been a good penno - just a lucky one.

Turns out it was all just a big misunderstanding by everybody, that clears that up then.

Nothing to see here.

I think many of your celebrity friends use those terms too. Which at the last count must be pushing for 250 at least. :D
