As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I get really pissed off when I read and hear former players and pundits paying tribute to him yesterday and mentioning how he transformed the club off the pitch and citing the new stadium as an example.......are they paying homage to wenker the manager or wenker the board member ? I dont doubt that wenker initiated a load of positive off pitch changes within the club but this is about his 1000th game as a manager so that is what they should be focused on. If you were cynical (not that I am of course ) you could argue that it would look better paying tribute to wenker's off pitch successes than having to go back 8 years to pay tribute to his on pitch successes and that is why they focus on the stadium etc

400 or so ?
502
And the man continues to keep, and sadly extend, his reign of power based on successes that he brought to the club many moons ago Over half of his reign has been a failure and again if we average out his trophies per season ratio we will see a manager that is far from the most successful manager the club has ever had
Tactically he is just the worst manager I have ever come across. We're not talking about minor selection decisions or whatever, his approach is fundamentally moronic in the big games.
On trips to Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool he sends us out with no defensive solidarity to try and play an expansive and open game. Sure enough, 3 absolute bum-holings. Sends us up to Old Trafford to play a negative game with no endeavour, and we lose (comfortably) to a team we should have hammered.

14 games against City, Chelsea and United without a win. That's a real big game hunter for you
Never seen a manager rip his achievements to threads at such a rate as Wenger. Championship quality and allow the greatest amount of goals of any team against the top 4. What a joke.
Wouldnt mind seeing him sacked tonight... WENGER OUT NOW!
