there is actually a paragraph commenting on the title race.
Wenger says "it leaves it in a very bad situation" :banghead: :banghead:

I would have more respect for Wenger and the club if they could just come out and say that we are now out of the title race and concentrating on securing 4th place (which has of course been the goal all along anyway)
Were we ever truly in the title race? :rubchin:
Up until today yes. Fucking pissed off tonight, I even put money on us to win today. I never really thought we could win it, we simply cant compete with the sugar daddy's.

how ridiculous!

is there really anyone who still wants this guy in charge of our football team? It's apparently up to the fans to boycott everyone and everything until he gets the sack.

how embarrassing. He's got to be the most stubborn SOB I've ever seen. We were cut open by all the big clubs the very same way but he says "I don't care, we will win it my way and I'll be proven right, club be damned."

I recently read a quote of his about how losing the CL final wasn't really failure because they only gave up a goal in the last 13mins. of play. Really? can't anyone hear the complete and total psychological craziness of that statement?

Half of his tenure has now been a failure. Half. How does a football manager at this level keep his job for 17 years? he either is really good or at such a small club that it truly doesn't matter. Or he's just doing the minimum the Board want to survive 17 years.

this isn't Huddersfield Town. This is the Arsenal. 60,000K stadium , highest tickets in all of Britain, top 10 richest clubs in the world, and a bollocks-sucking manager that makes 8 million per year.

it's not good enough. Hasn't been for years.

damn it I'm so f$%^^$$##@ MAD.

Bayern have built a new stadium. Juve have built a new stadium. What really was the point of the Emirates? So 20,000 more can come in and see us play boring , losing football?

we were told consistently that the new stadium would help us compete. but then we're told that it's difficult because we have the yearly payment. Then the Board says there's money there. I'm so confused.

We're making way more money every home game, more seats, concessions, licensing agreements, Emerites Cup, Brazil games? So where's it all going?

how many on here are really happy about that new stadium? I'm not.

As much as I loved Highbury it was time to move to a bigger stadium just the money sucking board who love to announce they have 120+ mill in the bank and a manager who thinks 4th place is actually a good season we are stuck at groundhog day for the last 8 seasons and unless the manager goes I see another 3 seasons of this nobody in the club has the balls to say to Wagner adios and would I resign earning 7 mill+ a year ? .

Love to know what the board say to the manager each season :rubchin: 100% of managers in any sport who earns as much as Wenger would be sacked except for our club .

Yes we were but today, when the going got tough (we had a chance to go 1 point behind, with a game in hand :banghead: ), Arsene and his paper tigers just couldn't hack it. So after all that, it's just 4th again ( ) and I wouldn't be surprised if we blew the FA Cup.

Contract still not signed and after today being beaten in that manner by a mourinho team will convince wenger not to sign. I don't think anybody wants to see him sacked, he has to walk away at the end of the season. Listening to wenger speak about a manager's responsibility is to leave a club bigger and better than when he arrived. He has done, he knows he has done this and the signs are there that he will not re-sign.

Sadly, we've been hammered by teams model on wengers formula of pace and power. Even gazides and kroneke must see this has to end at the end of the season...Jurgen Klopp is sponsored by puma and he has to be the man to take the reigns.

I really hope today was the final nail in the coffin and has convinced Wenger it's time to step aside.

Tactically we're atrocious and make the same mistakes over and over again (which, of course, is why Mourinho was right about Wenger being a specialist in failure). Time to move on (in fact, long over due) and give someone else a chance.

Lets win the FA Cup and part company on something of a positive note.

But please, not another contract. Enough is enough.

Sunday Supplement should be fun in the morning............chief wenker supporter paddy Barclay will be on it as will andy dunn who slated wenker in the above article so we should see an interesting exchange of opinion
I used to like listening to Barclay but his ridiculous defence of wenker allied to his annoying habit of talking down to everyone on that show, has made him a c*nt in my eyes and I hope dunn decks him in the morning if he even starts to defend le cock
