Madness this evening at Newmarket races.
Any one in the know got any tips (except McDowell naturally )

Chas "Smash" Smyth from Madness is a Gooner, came out for the encore and I'm pretty sure he uttered " E I E " before they launched into the next song

Going to see Bruce Springsteen on Tuesday. Saw Little Angels on their farewell tour a while back supported by Toseland the band fronted by motorbike racing bloke James Toseland, they were great had a chat with James as well. Tidy bloke didnt realise he was married to Katie Melula. Shes well fit.

Saw Madness at Newmarket on Friday Night. Another great gig, apart from Lee Thommo Thompson's karaoke version of New York, New York. A lot of stuff from the Oui Oui album sounded great live. Baking hot evening, booze-a-plenty, and won a few quid on the racing as well. All round great night out!

It’s telling that so many groups who wouldn't normally agree with each other have united to oppose the gagging law. Groups that speak out in favour of hunting, windfarms, HS2 or building more houses are joining together with groups who say exactly the opposite. [4]

That’s because there’s one thing we should all be able to agree on: in a healthy democracy, everyone should able to express their views. And everyone should be allowed to get organised to highlight what politicians are saying and doing on the issues that matter to them.

Politics is too important to leave to political parties. When we speak up about decisions that affect us and the future of our country, we can often change things for the better. Are politicians really so arrogant as to think the UK would be better off if all these groups were blocked from campaigning?

Let’s come together quickly and tell MPs that this gagging law must not be passed. The first vote is on Tuesday, so please email your MP now:

Just got in from the Brixton Academy after fulfilling an 18 year dream to see Soundgarden live. The last show on their European tour.

They were fucking brilliant. Chris Cornell was on top form and the tunes off Superunknown and Down on the Upside blew me away
