I'm with piresistable on Kovetic. I've seen him play well for his country from a wide left position but he doesn't look to have what it takes to be an out-and-out striker, which is what we need.

I'd love to see him join us, but I hopre we're still after a striker (and GK,DM,RB,CB).

AW has, on a number of occasions, stated that bringing in more than 3 players in the off-season can be too disruptive, and I tend to agree with him. We have, according to most pundits, a 70mil warchest. Therefore, surely we should be looking at at least two 'marquee' signings.
Cesar could be got for very little (given that he cost QPR nothing and is on big wages) so we should have more than enough to go after a Lewandowski (my first choice) or Cavani and have plenty left over for Jovetic or a top top DM.

The addition of that type of quality, plus the buzz it would bring to the club, could give us the prospect of competing for the league.

I don't mind bringing in 'prospects' from Ligue 2 etc but they have to be in addition to proper quality players.
