I swear I would sacrifice the FA Cup IF and only IF it meant he walked.

Are you for fucking real?? I want to see us winning trophies, I don't care who is in charge.scotgooner wrote:I swear I would sacrifice the FA Cup IF and only IF it meant he walked.
What is the world coming to when so called gooners want us to fail. I much preferred being a gooner back in the day when most of our fanbase originated from NL rather than now when no doubt we have a band of JCL's on board.

Don't try and call me a plastic gooner mate! Living in North London doesn't make you any more of a gooner than myself or anyone else.nut flush gooner wrote:Are you for fucking real?? If losing the cup meant we finally get rid of him then I believe that is for the best as a new manager with fresh ideas could have us competing for the big boy trophys like the league and CL, as under Wenger we will never again.
I obviously want us to win the FA cup but if that means the contract extension then it will have come at a massive cost for the next few years where we will fail to properly compete yet again!

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
I can see where you're coming from. Given a choice between winning the cup with another three years of dross in the league and not winning the cup and a new face finally being given the chance to bring something fresh and new to the club then I'd go with the latter. Although I badly want us to win the cup, because the fans deserve it more than anything Only one man (or possibly two or three depending on your point of view) is to blame for Gooners turning on Gooners which in my mind is the saddest thing about our current predicamentscotgooner wrote:I swear I would sacrifice the FA Cup IF and only IF it meant he walked.

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
Reports in today's Mail suggest that the time may be coming soon...actually sooner than that !! "sources" say announcement of his impending departure is imminent. case of when we see it we believe it, but as others have written in the last 24 hours on this thread even he has to know that he cannot go on.
I wouldn't sacrifice the FA Cup in order for him to go but I understand what Scotgooner is saying. My fear for the FA Cup is we beat Wigan , play a pumped up Hull City in the final and disintegrate on the day.

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
It is a complex situation indeed. I desperately want us to end the 9 year drought because as you say the fans more than deserve it for their loyalty and patience (which I don't feel Wenger fully appreciates), however if cup victory is in Wengers mind justifiable to a new deal which is then announced shortly after then it will put a massive damper on it for me personally even though it has ended this fucking drought. Which is sad really because an FA Cup victory should only be a happy occasion.Leyton Gooner wrote:I can see where you're coming from. Listen son, don't come on here and start bleating about how you want us to lose games just so your stupid agenda can get satisfied. I am going to the semi final, will also hopefully be going to the final and am 100% behind the team regardless who is in charge.scotgooner wrote:Don't try and call me a plastic gooner mate! Quite frankly, I cant imagine any gooner that spends their hard earned dosh on following their team wants this scenario.
And yes you come across as totally plastic, cant you take up curling or somat!

I myself am going to the semi final (and spending 200 odd quid to do so therefore your plastic comment is totally rubbish)nut flush gooner wrote:Listen son, don't come on here and start bleating about how you want us to lose games just so your stupid agenda can get satisfied. Regardless of the fa cup result Wenger will go when he wants anyway so of course I want us to win it.
I am just massively fed up with these humiliating defeats again and again and again that if a cup loss would be the final nail in his coffin then I would almost welcome it.
Either way I'm happy

I'm okay with Arsenal not winning trophies for few more years, but I'm not okay with Arsene Wenger leaving Arsenal #OneArseneWenger

I am still raw and dumbstruck and what I don't get is his inability to learn from mistakes, over and over again the same mistakes.
He clearly is, or at least was an intelligent man. Intelligence is the ability to recognize patterns or is he just thick?!
Alzheimers ?
stubbornness ?
whatever a leopard doesn't change his spots
I really believed this season would be different, but whilst he is in charge I cant see it changing.
I have come to agree with most on here its time for him to go
I'm going for a run

I think yesterday's performance will have even him seriously doubting whether he should stay.
Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
Not a chance will yesterday make a difference to that French prick. We will beat Swansea, and that will have the sheep singing his name again. We will then get stuffed against City, and when the doubts about him are raised again, we will show our 'mental strength' with a draw against Evertonscotgooner wrote:I think yesterday's performance will have even him seriously doubting whether he should stay.

Yes I agree with you about the league games. If we did crumble and miss out on the top 4 and lost the CL money I think that is literally the only thing that will raise an eyebrow with the *word censored* that own and run our club!BFG4 wrote:Not a chance will yesterday make a difference to that French prick. According to L'EQUIPE, Kalou confirmed he could have come to us in January for a loan but declined.
