As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I saw that Kalou story too and made my day it did. Stupid me, thinking it was just a daft rumour.
This from a man who replaced RVP with Giroud and Sanogo. Already having signed Bendtner & Chamakh. OK, the latter because, like Kallstrom, he was free.
Wenger must be shouting at the players right now. Blaming them for the whole of yesterday's shower of sh*t won't go down well, he'll lose the dressing room. I hope someone senior (Sagna? Per?) is telling him that playing a high line against all 3 top sides was his idea and his only. As was his decision to send out that midfield against Chelsea's very powerful one.
If Wenger stays, he'll only be able to sign the useless or desperate. Already lining up some french 19 year old to replace Sagna.
Just hope Vieira, Petit, Henry etc come out and say enough is enough.

Are you for fucking real?? I want to see us winning trophies, I don't care who is in charge.
What is the world coming to when so called gooners want us to fail. I much preferred being a gooner back in the day when most of our fanbase originated from NL rather than now when no doubt we have a band of JCL's on board.
Personally I am deeply depressed that these plastic people from North London have taken over watching my club, all my mates from Woolwich say the same
Incidentally interesting stuff from Wrighty on 5live this evening - couldnt QUITE say he had to go unlike Stuart Robson earlier today, but was pretty much there. To me it looks like the tide may be turning a bit, but then I thought we could win the PL earlier this season- me and 1989 must be on the same stuff

more likely to announce 'that this will be the summer that we spend big,the financial shackles are finally off and we will be able to compete with the worlds best,we will be able to spend 50m on a player if we want, blah blah blah

I have a funny feeling this is it boys....I think he is going to go..... Tick tock, tick tock
Where else in world football will we find someone who scours the world 24 hours a day but is still unable to find anyone better than Sanogo or Kallstrom ?
This is the man who recognised the previously unknown talents of Gervinho, Almunia, Chamach, who uses his tactical acumen gained form 30 years in football to play Eboue at left midfield and reward the hard work of Denilson and Bendtner by giving them improved contracts.
Fingers crossed the penny has dropped with him, or the directors and someone, somewhere realises that enough is enough.

Not going to get my hopes up though.
I do feel that hes been found out. I reckon the board are more aware of his failings than we give them credit for. Hence the 'strange, un-wengerlike' Ozil signing. They have seen how groundhog season has affected season ticket projections and know full well that these humiliating 5 and 6 and 8 goal capitulations cannot be sustained.
Quite possibly and long overdue its possible the board have realised that Wengers time is up.

I don't agree with that - if he leaves then that will be down to Wenger.
The board will do all they can to make sure that he stays. They will be totally exposed once Wenger is no longer manager.

Exactly. And unfortunately when he does go they will be desperate for his input re his successor, and as with everything Wenger will be happy to give his opinion. In that event can only hope that he would rely on the philosophies of his early Arsenal career and recommend somebody like Martinez, and not somebody like his Croatian mini-me. He will not want an established successful name to succeed him and he views success at clubs who spend money as worth very little.

arsenalnewsreview.co.uk reckons the board are split into Kroenke plsu various others on one side wanting Wenger to stay, and various others wanting Wenger to leave.
