As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What a fucking piss take this club is. Surely they know the fuckwit is beyond redemption at this point, but still they suffer the fuck out of us by delaying the inevitable.
On an equally important note, surely, Team SteveO won't let all their hard work preparing for the grand barbecue go to waste? They won't have a contract signing to celebrate, but they can instead shift their focus to hosting us the members of Team Rodders when we celebrate the liberation of our Club from the clutches of the cretinous dictator.
we are currently heading towards our most successful season since the move to the new stadium (possible top 4 finish and win the FA Cup) and so in the eyes of Kroenke, Gazidis and the AKBs things are going along great. Imagine what an FA Cup win will do to merchandise sales!, the 4th place will mean an extra european night in August!
sorry but I am looking at things from the point of an AKB today after I sat through the "Clock End" on Arsenal player last night which was the most depressing hour you could ever imagine. The pundit on there even thought that we should still try and win the league!
It was like some sort of parallel universe. One guy even said that achieving 3 points from the last 2 games was really good and better than we could have hoped for.
"An accident has happened, that doesnt mean youre not a good driver" fuck me what is it with this fanny and cars perhaps we played a leetle beet weeth the handbrake on
To have shite like this on our club website is fucking embarrassing
Thank god it was only an accident, there was me thinking the same problem kept reoccuring!

To be fair if you asked most people here, three points from those two games would have been more than predicted. That said saying something is 'really good' shortly after a humiliating 6-0 smashing by one of our rivals is more than a little deluded

One "accident" is careless, but three in the space of three months, all three the fault of the same driver. Maybe it's time for this driver to lose his "license".
Without a shadow of a doubt, that is the best analogy I have seen on here
papers today (yawn) - think Torygraph - say Wenger has verbally agreed his new contract, but that the Board are angling for 2 years, not 3 and plans are being shuffled into place for his successor in due course as he now sees his future as short term at Arsenal. Wenger is waiting to see how the season and Cup run end, and how the fans react to him. Over to you guys if you're going as I'm not and I doubt he spends any time reading O.G forums
Talking of which, anyone else constantly getting timed out or the error 500 netgator (or whatever) thing? I also have to refresh pages to get them to load. Only on O.G. Does the server have the handbrake on?!
Hi all. I feel this is a very appropriate thread to post my first comment since a clique of Wenger apologists in Arsenal-Mania have succeeded in hounding me into demotion this week. I was relatively more militant in my views against Wenger which recently unleashed their wrath and so they campaigned for my demotion for almost a month because I dared to question his frankly pathetic record in the CL amongst his other failings.
The following response to a frankly cringe worthy but typical post from a poster who has never failed to get off Wenger's cock was the straw that broke the camel's back.
With his contract, Wenger can do what he likes. Fans have no right to ask for him to be sacked, Wenger is beyond that. The club also leaves it to Wenger to decide what he thinks is best - when he leaves, if he leaves, doesn't he want a 2 or 4 year contract etc.
Wenger can do what he likes and we fans should respect and accept that, Wenger has put in the work to earn that sort of freedom.
-
The longest trophy drought of any one Arsenal manager. Our third longest trophy drought ever; our longest in over 40 years. 503 matches in charge since our last trophy; more than half of Wenger's Arsenal career. All hail Lord Wenger the unaccountable specialist in failure who is free to do whatever he likes without question from Arsenal Football Club fans - aka the ones who pay his wages.

when's their next flat earth meeting?
Business idea: make those tat statues that you get of the Virgin Mary, Vatican etc of Wenger and flog em to the Deluded Ones.
welcome on board Sydney - the views on here towards Wenger are generally a bit different
I couldn't resist having a look on that Arsenal Mania site you mentioned though.
within 2 minutes I found this absolute gem.
"Sorry to all the AWOB fans, but I just cannot imagine Arsenal without Wenger. The Moyes fiasco should be a clear reminder of what could we be into.
If he were to step down, Barca, PSG, City and maybe even Real would fight it out to get him. And he would probably walk the league/CL with any of those teams. But his dedication to Arsenal is so special that I cannot really think of what would happen once the great man steps aside."

How would Barcelona cope with strikers playing on the right wing (as Bendtner did, among others), Central midfielders playing left wing (Arshavin), attacking midfielders playing holding roles (AOC), and right backs playing at centre half (Sagna). Of course just like now, he won't want to spend hardly any transfer budget.
The Turin Shroud will disintegrate
Vast hordes of Chinese peasants will insanely rush into Mongolia causing the earth to wobble on it's axis under their concentrated weight
Pandora's Box will be found and opened by a Scythian farmer drunk on Arak
The Liberty Bell will fall apart along the crack
Elvis will emerge from hiding to reveal he has been held captive in an alien base under the Utah desert playing private concerts for the Skull and Bones Society
The crystal skulls of South America will begin talking in an ancient tongue and will curse the population of Belgium with a plague of pubic lice
And that is all within the first hour....lots more will follow
So if you drive for National Express and have an accident or two you can say it doesn't mean you're a bad driver. But under no circumstances must you blame it on the coach either! It's more likely those tricky lunch time journey's are the cause

yup.
9 points on your license and you're done.
pretty pathetic excuses. but at least the press are start to look for stories about his successor......
