I thought I was banned from the Official.
But when I tried it a few days ago, I managed to log in.
Waste of time, really. There is so little traffic, you could wait a week for any response to your posts.
The place is almost dead. Poisoned by a person with an ego the size of a planet, and a silly (no reference to items of clothing that identify particular individuals we can't mention please) . And deprived of input by overzealous moderators who are not Arsenal fans.

you either know who i am talking about or you don't. if you don't, consider yourself blessed.
problem is this. if any poster makes any kind of positive identification of said/sad individual, then said individual does this... bypasses us and goes straight to the ISP with loads of legal threats about taking them to court for allowing persecution on their server. it may be a load of baloney, but some employee at the ISP isn't going to take any chances and will pull the plug on the website. not just the forum but the whole thing.
what happens next is this. we negotiate with the ISP to get the main part of the site back up and we agree that the forum stays down until the ISP can carry out whatever investigation they feel the need to do. but at gooner towers we are not going to bother investing much time pressuring them to get the forum back online if members can't play by the rules.
so yes, lots of you have very negative feelings towards this individual, but please remember that they are driven by a warped psychological craving for attention. all you are doing by even acknowledging their existence is making them feel good about themselves. they feed on your hatred. just ignore them. it's easy. i haven't got the energy to even dislike the individual. who gives a f**k about their sad need for attention? there aren't enough hours in the day.
so if you must refer to this individual please use the following term - they who cannot be mentioned - or TWCBM if you prefer. but in my opinion you'd do better to ignore them completely and just leave them in their own cesspit on the official forum, and use this one instead.
imagine how good they would feel if they brought down this here forum. why do you want to give them that satisfaction? just ignore the individual and pretend they do not exist. they aren't worth the effort.
you've been warned. if the forum goes, it won't be coming back quickly. so i'd just steer well clear of the subject of this individual if i were you.
so avoid reference to their gender, appearance (physically or what they choose to wear) or name. or anything else that makes this individual identifiable. and be careful if anyone asks you to PM you with details of this individual if you don't know them.
