As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Excellent result, put out first team against Leige, secure qualification then rest players in the final game
I agree with most of your post, here and generally.
I just can't believe you were disappionted with Song. What does the guy have to do?

Not sure if its been mentioned already, but at the end of the game I'm pretty sure they started playing "Good Old Arsenal". Could this be a sign? I doubt it, but theres hope .

You know I have been one of his defenders over the last year or so? That was because he acted as a dm, hassling and tackling in front the defence, protecting it. Last night and against Spurs, he seemed to decide he was an attacking midfielder, caught upfield so many times due to drifting forward, lost the ball repeadtly and failed to get back for the goal.

For me, he has to play it simple, his long range passing is over-hit too many times.

Surely Willy was a bigger offender last night. I think he wanted to be centre forward.
However when we needed Gallas back, we found Gallas at the heart of our defense, time after time dealing with the danger. He also set up a goal and nearly set up another with his passing
Song was neither protecting the defense or setting up attacks
