WOLVES HOME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not to blow my own trumpet but I always stick up for the lanky git, he seems to get unfairly slated but I think he's got something about him.

Without arguably our 4 best players we have pulled it out the bag.

:barscarf:

Would be heartbreaking if we lost this on goal difference.

Almunia you *word censored*........... :banghead: ..........................

Thank. Fuck. For. That.

However, can I be the first to say that, that was never a sending off.

There is every chance that I will not see the end of this season due to an arsenal induced heart attack.

Totally agree but a few seasons back didnt they try and bring in a rule saying that all tackles through the back of a player would be an automatic red ? I know that it was never enforced and that today's should never have been a red card but just trying to find out if my memory is playing tricks on me :?

I remember that too, and in fact, I seem to remember the FA trying to enforce it. However, it was one of those things that was so inconsistently dealt with that people were left wondering exactly what the rules were.

Anyway, who fucking cares? Three points off the top of the league in April. If you'd offered me that in August I would have ripped your fucking arm off. Metaphorically, of course

That was so SO sweet for all the ridiculous timewasting. Eboue completely ineffectual on the left. Vermaelen busted several guts and had to lie down by the end - was playing striker, midfield and defence - to the point where the medical team came on to see if he was injured after the whistle went. Rosicky worked his little bum off too. Denilson much improved these last few games. I thought we were resigned to a draw after Alumnia shanked it for a throw in on 93 minutes.

Wolves just parked the bus and played complete anti-football so fair play we got the result. Its going to be a trying few weeks without Cesc or Andrey to create something but credit to boys for getting the result :barscarf:
