FULHAM HOME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm gonna get pished with some Taff mates watching Cardiff v Leic 1st

3rd is huge and the players know that
they dont want their preseason (ie hols) ruined by having a CL qualifier
we were very lucky with the draw this season

really emphasises how much better 3rd is than 4th
so that's progress :barscarf:

I think the last season we won a trophy was a poor one
IMO the CL final was more of an achievement
as were our two title tilts (this year and the Edu season when we were robbed by referees)

3rd + a title challenge is progress on last season
having a solid dmid and a younger more solid CB to replace Toure is progress
getting rid of LazyBarndoor is another improvement (in terms of quality, effort and morale)
unfortunately Wengers gamble on keeper has failed
but at least we have firmly established we need a new one I guess
that would be further progress
seems we've signed a striker who's is good in the air to replace Ade (one season too late some would say but he has come on a free because of that)

onwards and upwards
win today and lets look forward to next season
we have a position its easy to make a HUGE improvement in
a decent keeper wins us a lot of points - no reason why we shouldn't be title contenders AGAIN next season

lets just beat Fulham b today
