I think he would be a good signing, although i would be very surprised if it was true.
If Chelski don't renew his contract which i think they will then he's got Man United written all over him and i think the only way he wouldn't be going to them is if he and his lady were desperate to stay around London.

As for how he would fit into our team, i don't think that would be a problem, yes he is similar to a lot of our players but the difference is he has an end product, which most of our players don't. He is a good crosser of a ball, his passing is excellent, he can shoot and he has a trick or two up his sleeve to unlock defences and to add to that he gets stuck in and has good work rate.
Personally i would like to see him on our right side, currently we play theo or Eboue there , neither of them can cross a ball neither of them can shoot without miscuing the ball and neither of them are capable of picking out an accurate pass under pressure in the final third and if that isn't bad enough we have a full back behind them that can't cross a ball either. It's hard to believe in a team that is all about technically good football we have a whole right side that are totally lacking in the technical basics of attacking play, Cole would definitely be a huge improvement..
