he only played the 2nd half i think and it is exactly what he needed u tart, a run around in a match that doesnt matter.
hes obviously not ready for any alonso style tackles yet but might get some minutes late on IF we are comfortable.
same for van persie who has been training at arsenal all week (well when they do actually train)
new keeper by sunday!!!! pleaaaaaseeeeeee!!!

I would get my facts clear before I start trading insults. Fabregas started the game.leahy wrote:he only played the 2nd half i think and it is exactly what he needed u tart, a run around in a match that doesnt matter.

He hasnt kicked a ball for Arsenal since the 2-2 barce game
Has played a part in the World Cup
Played a part in a friendly
Is paid by Arsenal
Paid a lot as well
AND
I AM A TIT THEN because I WILL moan,.....
I am driving a round trip of just under 600 miles on Sunday....paying £45 for the seat i wont sit in, spending money on petrol and following my team.
I see our captain playing for his country, so yes I WILL moan if he doesnt play Sunday.....if he is fit enough to be on a plane to Mexico and play...he is fit enough to play sunday......dont be a patronising twat Leahy
Yes halfway accross the world for a kickabout, with his spanish Barca buddies, 4 days before one of our biggest games of the season, yet he didn't play in any of Arsenal's friendlies since he returned to training. yip certainly looks like he is focusing on the season ahead with Arsenalleahy wrote:point is he went there and had a kick around, anyone moaning about that is a tit

If Cesc and RVP play it's two less excuses for Wenger to trot out once we've lost.
We already know that Song, Denilson, Diaby weren't fully mentally prepared due to lack of pre-season kickabouts and that Kos will need time to adapt to the English game.
We'll bounce back against Blackpool, so don't worry.

Denilson and Diaby face tests before Sunday
Arsène Wenger has a number of selection issues to resolve before he can name his squad for the Premier League opener at Liverpool on Sunday.
Johan Djourou (hamstring), Nicklas Bendtner (groin) and Aaron Ramsey (leg) will all miss the trip to Anfield, while Alex Song (calf) is almost certain to do likewise.
However Denilson (abdominal) and Abou Diaby (calf) face fitness tests before the team travel north. Meanwhile, Robin van Persie and Cesc Fabregas are not injured but do lack match fitness after a long World Cup campaign. Wenger will wait before making a decision on either. Despite missing the trip to Poland last weekend with a muscular injury, Andrey Arshavin is available.
"Alex Song has a calf problem and will be short," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online on Thursday afternoon. "Denilson will have a test on Friday or Saturday on an abdominal problem. Diaby has a calf problem but he is back in full training. He might be available and Andrey Arshavin is alright.
"But I still have to make a decision about whether I will include Van Persie and Fabregas in the squad."
Arsenal.com will bring you updated injury news from the manager's press conference on Friday lunchtime.
