Schwarzer joining tomorrow?

Is there anything in the rules that says we can't play 2 keepers in goal......?

Mind you even with flappy and aluselessmunia we'd still be short of anyone decent...

so I've lined up my afternoon eleven....

I personally hope flappy plays today

imo that means al = gone and AW intends to keep flappy as back up and to develop him???? but without the new number one arriving flappy needs to play today

If Al plays on the other hand it is likely he is still number 1 :banghead:

anyone agree?

Yep, agree. I think what we'll see Schwarzer eventually come in as no. 1, flappy as no. 2, Almunia out, one of Mannone or Chesney to loan.

I'm so confused (and exhausted) by all this goalie transfer will he won't he stuff...I've almost gone past the point of caring...Not Quite...as I do care...but.....it's just F'ing Ridiculous.....

2 years ago - Given was all but signed up - and then the board (or AW or both) wouldn't agree to an extra £5k a month and some other little things in personal contract...and so man city step in ...so Given didn't arrive... :banghead:

Now after 2 seasons where we could havew won the prem and another trophy or two - but didn't because in part we didn't have a decent keeper....and AW still is fart arsing around....

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Someone on this board said they ran in to Given and he said Arsenal were never in for him... where did you hear this story about the extra £5k?

Some time ago on 5 live there was a special about (football) agents and the agent involved explained why Given didn't come....it was/is a well known story.....Given was set to leave the toon...and was 'keen to join Arsenal'.....but there were 'stumbling blocks' around his the personal agreements on his contract...£5k a month extra + image rights etc..bering one of them...

If David Dein had still been on the board we'd have a new keeper and a decent defence by now....

It's all hearsay....who really knows about Shay other than himself, Wenger and his agent?

...we'd still be paying two and six for tickets on the terraced north bank, we'd be able to go out leaving our doors unlocked, the speed camera would never have been invented, there would be no such thing as chavs....

Serious though, I know that David Dein had many talents but I didn't realise that Scouting or Defensive Coaching was amongst them. :?
