TWOY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I like how it builds up, gets you sorta pumped.

To go along with Arsenalisation, the Emirates needed some new music, and this will do better than TWOY.

I wanna go watch Arsenal with you guys so bad :(
Am I seriously the only person who thinks this is a Troll???
Probably (Percy doesn'tcount because everyone knows he's nuts!! ).

Seriously though, I don't know why you think like that? Barriecuda hasn't written anything that would point him out to be a troll. As a foreign supporter of Arsenal, you can't expect him to know all the songs and colloquialisms that a gooner from this country would. :? :?
Of course not, otherwise you end up with such gems as:- "He's fighting for fourth!"

I really think you are reading way too much into fairly insignificant things, digger. Perhaps it stems from a dislike of our cousins from across the pond (even though the guy is Canadian!!) :?

Like I said previously, I haven't seem anything in his posts that make me suspecious of him or makes Barriecuda stand out as an obvious troll (although I have been wrong before!! ).

If we're not careful, we'll end up driving away any Arsenal new comers that might fancy participating in a discussion on the forum. It's hard enough for some people to get the courage to join in as it is, for fear of being thought not knowledgeable enough, let alone being accused of trolling.

Let's give people a break here (you'll notice that is a North American term!! ) before it really does become the domain of a 'clique'!!!

I happen to like Canadians. This one just seems extremely naive though.

I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully our quarterback will pass to our new o-fence player and score some touchdowns :barscarf:

Feck me, if naivity of Arsenal and football was the sole criteria, this forum would have very few regulars!!

the sensible thing for red action to do would be to consult the fans on what we want, not choose on our behalf again

should of had something arsenal
right here right now
fuk off
Firstly we have asked on numerous occasions for ideas and all those ideas such as the 'Arsenal Warchant' have been taken to the club and continue to be taken to the club

Secondly we did not say that 'right here right now' should replace TWOY. What we did say was that TWOY was generally despised by people who get in touch with us and that it was not a 'motivational' tune for the players to come out to.

The club realised that they had to do something for the pre-match build up and have made some changes starting this Saturday. These changes are not set in stone and there will be more to come they are just going to look and see how things develop. The idea of using 'right here right now' was mentioned as being something that would bring back some very happy memeories of Highbury.

Both London Calling and Good Old Arsenal are still very much on the agenda and will both be used in times to come no doubt.

Hopefully this will have put you straight about a few things, I really suggest you get your facts right before spouting off in future.

Do we even know that that stupid twoy song is not going to be played? It’s not been confirmed yet has it?
I can just hear that horrible song being played as I make my way into the ground. If we had a better song I would be in early. As it is I think it’s a joke the way we announce the team players and that hideous song!
Really intimidating for the away fans and players.
