its been along time since i've had this nervous butterfly feeling in my stomach before a big game...and lets not forget this IS a big game, we shouldnt under estimate Ipswich and think this is won, not after our first leg performance. people will say its just the carling cup, the fourth best trophy we can win....and yes it is but it is a trophy and we need to get some silverware for this team, it might give them belief for bigger and better things!!

I'm the reverse and I'm rarely like this. (I wasn't so great for the 1st leg through!) I was confident of raping Wigan and was not far wrong and I'm confident again. Can only be a good thing.

I think the games against Leeds and Ipswich served as a rocket up the arse for some and we were fortunate in both. Lucky to get the reply and lucky that this is a two legged tie.

Since then we've been playing really well and I'm sure the fans will be right behind the team tonight.

It's a tough one for Ipswich......
Best form of defence is attack? Errm not for a team like Ipswich. No offence but that would leave so many gaps to exploit.
Park the bus and there in for a long night but we'll get through. If we get an early goal they'll wobble and I think it could be a party night! :D

This will be similar to the Leeds game. They thought they could use the home advantage and press the game to us. That opened the gaps and we won. Ipswichs hope is to defend, but not to deep, and see if they can nick an away goal.
But we'll press the game to them and it will be squeeky bum time for 90 mins for them.

Because currently only 5th gets in the Europa League and we wont finish 5th. It goes to 6th if either the league cup or FA Cup are won by a team that has already qualified for Europe via league position, if both are won by such a club, even 7th gets in. We wont get 5th, might get 6th, but if it goes to 7th then we have a real chance. Of the semi finalists in the league cup, only Arsenal will qualify for Europe through the league, so if you dont win the competition, we need to finish either 5th or maybe 6th depending on the FA Cup to qualify for europe, and 7th will definitley see us miss out so we need you to win the League Cup to dramatically improve our european qualification chances, thus we are right behind the arsenal tonight!
