Carling Cup Final footy thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

HUGE worry!

Think Wenger will choose Arshavin wide left, Nasri in middle and Bendtner wide right.
RvP in front.

Very unlikely that Wenger would do it, but my choice would be Gibbs left, Arshavin middle and Nasri right.

Means we have bench of: Almunia, plus six from Gibbs, Eboue, Squillachi, Denilson, Rosicky Diaby, Chamakh.

That is a shite bench, imagine having to rely on any of those guys to change the game.

Chammy maybe if we are going to do the long ball but how good are we at that and doing it against B'ham would be a bit like them trying to go all tiki-taka against us...doomed to fail :( :banghead:

Please tell me Denilson not going start.Wembly pitch too big for his shuffling style. And Gardner and Bowyer can get freekicks easily from him.

Cruel trying to get anyones hopes up. :banghead:

I know its just the beer cup but it feels like it will have such a huge impact on the rest of the season. Lifting the cup without theo and cesc would add massive confidence!

Come on boys!!!!!!

Look out for a 15m x 15m version of this flag on Sunday.

Thanks to Dan_85 for the design

Nothing else planned. Officially, REDaction only organise things for home games, but were asked to provide the flag design (via Dan) for Sunday. You should have seen the first 'official' draft, it had Nike ticks and Emirates A380 planes on it!

The plan is to then to take ownership of the flag to take over from the 'UNITED COLOURS' one for home games.
