"I don't know!"
"When do we want it?"
"Want what?"

We are not a Wenger Out group, and to that end, we need to show it in our posts. That includes anti-Wenger posts and sigs. Otherwise we will be torn to pieces by some of the 'swing voters' that we will be trying to win over to the cause. There are thousands that are wavering in their support of the current regime at the Club. We need to stay ideally placed to capitalise on this if we end potless again this season.
We can't alienate people, before we've started. We can't be contradictory in our messages and our actions.
Frank.
Completely agree.

Could be suitable at the Villa game if we are out of it. Plus right now alot of people are confused about the aims of the group. There will be a lot of misconceptions that we are all about 'wenger out'
Lets get the aims fully written up first, make ourselves known about it then we can look at protesting.

I think it may be a possibility but it may be too soon. We have to be pretty sure we're not in the running otherwise it will be extremely embarassing

technically the protest is more to do with the club's priorities and use of money, but I admit it would look silly if we end up winning the league- then again I don't care what I'd look like if we end up winning the league at the lane

I've got Highbury Harold on facebook, a few of us have the signature as our profile pic, he said this on it:
Mate - not sure the whole 'FC not PLC' thing really works. The club has been a PLC for donkeys years and that part is pretty much irrelevant. Not denying something has to be done, but the opening message has to be right.
Also he replied further:
And while I'm here - this morning I've discovered there's a thread on the Online Gooner forum about all this but haven't had time to read through it all. Have you considered the campaign gaining momentum by the Black Scarf Movement or are your aims completely different? Ours includes the playing side but goes a lot deeper - plus it's already known to the club and they're starting to take notice. May be worth sharing thoughts.
I replied with:
I'm on the online gooner myself, I think people are just brainstorming ideas at the moment and getting framework for any activity in place, still a long way to go though. I've heard of the Black Scarf Movement and support a fair few of the aims, but I think we're trying to focus on the playing side and the lack of investment in the squad (and what the Arsenal FC, not PLC is trying to imply,) and some of the decisions taken by the manager. Also I haven't heard any news from the Black Scarf guys and am not sure if you guys have anything planned so we're going ahead with our own thing but I think we're open to sharing ideas about protests/banners etc. Still early days for us though
Thoughts lads?

The BSM didn't hardly catch on. I agreed fully with they're proposal but unfortunately the club bought out all they're scarfs (I think) We have very similar views I think but joining up with an old group isn't the most optimistic idea.
Once we set our aims and objectives maybe he can decide weather or not to join in and help us out.

What about those that oppose the idea?
The main objective is;
To encourage the club to develop a clear investment strategy, made visible to its fanbase, that will allow Arsenal to compete for the major club competitions
Arsenal have been competing for the major club competition in world football and competitions in their country.
As I type Arsenal have a game in hand which could send them top of the Premier League (widely regarded at the most competitive football league in the world). Arsenal have the second-best goals for record and one of the best defensive records in that league.
This set-up is very naive.
FFS!!!!!! Mate we are trying to do something here, i beg of you, if you dont like it , dont read it.
please.
hmmmm....you read every thread that so called rose tinters post and comment on said threads in a very derogitory and derisory manner so how can you post the above, you are one sided to the extreme

I've got to say, he has a point. The Club is a Plc, and that won't change. However, it still makes the point that the Club's business activities should be a means to an end. Football should be the end, but our argument is that this is not entirely the case at present.
This group is calling for a re-focus and a return to ruthless performance on the pitch.
Arsenal FC, NOT Plc still works IMO.

I am a very flippant individual so that was obviously just a joke and I am by no means a so called rose tinter, I can appreciate both sides of the arguments on this forum and both sides have their flaws but I find it interesting nonetheless.
What I don't appreciate are posters that cannot and will not tolerate other peoples views without insulting them like a five year old with adhd on crack
